I was in the car listening to this song on cassette on my way to the hospital. I worked as an RN. I didn’t know if Melissa was gay but I was hoping so. Such a beautiful song and album.

This is so stressful. My heart chooses who I feel my blood pumping through body for. It's what they do for me how they treat me and what I see in their eyes, when they see and think of me. I don't want to walk away from men but it's they didn't do for me. Its not a sex thing for me it's a love thing

This is why I love Melissa... women our age remember when this BS was happening. And to see the gay bars being shot up by such mean soulless a$$holes today is just heartbreaking. I was told I was going to hell over & over again growing up. 🤦 Well if hell is where all the women are I'll gladly go there! And lost my very best friend, Selmon Crawford Ford, to AIDS.
