Your explanation is very clear and concise. It helped that you used different colors for those of us who are visual learners. I am watching this video the night after we did the Mega Challah event in San Diego. While many ladies made a six-strand braid I swirled my dough to make small snail shaped challahettes. Next time I'll make the six-strand challah.
Thank you for posting this video. I have been searching for a long time for the technique to make a 6-strand braid and yours is the most straightforward for me to understand. Thanks again.
Brilliant explanation, thank you. You make it so clear. I just tried a six strand for the first time today and had to give up' I ended up doing side -by-side three strands. Those directions made no sense. I can't wait to try your method.
I have tried to figure out how to make a six braid challa for years. Thank G-d for your video. I am even going to make my first braided challah with colors for my family! Great for kids! I'll call it rainbow challah!
Thank you so much. I’m a bit dyslexic and this really helps. I have no problem making the dough etc, until it comes to braiding, then it goes crazy. I usually have to make a three strand braid and put it in a loaf pan or make knots. Thank you, now I can make a pretty braided loaf for the Shabbat table.
3:00 am... I am hunting rope just to try this... Thanks.. LOL No really, been wanting to learn this for a suspension bridge project, this was the best explanation on You Tube University.. Great Job... I picked it right up...
