Good stuff! As an electric bassist who wishes he had come to the double bass decades ago, when the band director in high school was recruiting trombone players to play string bass for the orchestra, I am learning so much from you and your uploads! Thx.

tone depends on many parameters ! Firstly, it is a solo, or an orchestra. second: it's the foundation bass, or the theme, there's a lot of options! location + pressure + bow speed and quantity ,whether vibration is needed or not, a warm tone, or a little brighter.. pizz also has many tone options: you need to thoroughly - do not use G string if these are arias, or pizz needs to be taken denser, D string is better, A string, positions higher, the string is thicker, will give a thicker and softer sound. use two fingers in the game, if extremely sharp - vice versa.
