A cruise is what you make it. Unfortunately, everyone cant be happy. Ill be sailing in May and will have a blast lol I am the party!!! Thank you for your reviews
Thanks for the review. Im booked for independence in a couple of months. Ive cruised with royal before and it is definitely much different than carnival when it comes to music and entertainment. Carnival is great for music and entertainment. The sail away party on Carnival is Excellent!!! Royal is much more laid back, but their food is much better than carnival. For me, the group you go with tends to make or break a Royal Cruise. You kind of have to entertain yourselves. Carnival knocks it out of the park when it comes to Entertainment. But Carnival also has many more kids running around at all times and all over the buffet. I used to love Carnival but now that im in my mid 40s I think Royal suits me best. Thanks for the review!!
What I think is missing from these cruise ships is the essence of the culture from the area that people are visiting. I’m saying don’t want to see food that I can cook at home constantly.
I just went on my 1st Royal Caribbean ship last week ..Voyager of the Sea..great ship but it was turned down and I didn't like the Sail away party or lack thereof and the people on that cruise seemed to be a lot older than me, .im a young 44 and i was expecting it to be crackin like on Carnival and Margaritaville at Sea... .those ships are super fun, but Royal felt like a quiet old has been mall feel. The food was great..The décor was great ..the staff was very helpful but the vibe was very turned down..lots of old/older people. And my bed was rock hard even with what they said was mattress topper..my back still hurts from it. I had a ball tho in the ports of call. Overall it's a good cruise line of you wanna just turn down and chill...however I like to have the options of both turn up and chill on my vacations.
The club on Mariner of the Seas was lit when I went. There wasn't really a sail away party. I don't think that's RC's thing. If you're expecting that then that's not the cruise to be on. We had a great time though.
I'm going on independence later this year. I know they perform grease on the ship so maybe that's why the dj played the songs? But that's still not a good reason to play them at the club😂 thank you for sharing!

Independence of the seas doesn't have El Loco fresh, Johnny rockets is an up charge and the Windjammer was closed from 3-6pm. I was referring to the time frame of 3-6 pm and free options.😊
I went on independence of the seas in 2021 was the first cruise to sail out of Galveston after Covid-19 I had a great time the Costumer service was great the there was plenty of space for 4 people in my cabin the comedy show was funny you just got un lucky on who they got but I love royal Caribbean it just depends on what you like. Like if you like to party a lot royal caribbean might not be for you.
grease music lol.. also kinda disappointed that you said the izumi hibachi isn't the best.. we reserved a table and we're going in april.. it was like 200 dollars for all of us :(
Royal has stand-up comedians on all the time. The Oasis-class ships have a comedy club that's pretty small, and the comedians will then usually do a show in the main theater as well. Headliners vary. Sometimes there are jugglers or magicians or singers or dancers or ventriloquists or musicians or whatever. I don't go to the club, so I'll have to take your word for it that your DJ wasn't good. I really like live music, and Royal generally offers a lot of that (piano guy in the Schooner, guitarist in the pub, Latin band, cover band, etc.).
Love your videos n beautiful family but People always try to compare Royal & Norwegian to Carnival but their totally different ships Carnival Is your club ratchet fun ship The other two are more calm relax and pricey more upscale ships all fun and they’re own way

When I went 09/16-19/22 they closed everything up for kids to early which made my younger brothers upset the pools were to deep for the younger kids my brother did not enjoy having to where a life vest even though he can swim. The sail away party was inside cause of weather and for the rock climbing who the hell randomly brings socks on a cruise every one is bringing crocs and sandals. This is just my personal opinion our storage was small we had stuff everywhere it was hard to move around with 4 people in a small room
Right!! I needed socks to do the skypad and I didn't bring any so I couldn't do it..Smh and the sail away party and storage definitely needs help lol. Thanks for watching ❤️
You can always order extra from the main dining room and take it back to your room. Also when booking it shows you the room and if you look at the pictures which include the closet, dresser, etc. you can estimate your storage space. Maybe next time book with a travel agent bc clearly you didn’t understand what was included and wasn’t. I had to stop watching I was sick of the complaining. But enjoy people cancelling their cruises bc YOU had a bad experience 🙄
I was on Carnival Mardi Gras and they did the fire show and everything. I can see it being a hazard if the ship doesn't have fire doors in the restaurant.
Great video! Because of your insight and thoughtfulness I decided to cancel my upcoming balcony ocean view on Royal's Wonder of the Sea. Instead I will be booking on Carnival Valor in an interior on the second floor. I feel I almost made a mistake. Toi you are absolutely gorgeous.
