Pass them a note that says "Taking notes of salient details is a really good idea!" *ha*

Me and two of my friends ended up getting dungeons and dragons, but that was 6 months ago, and we still haven't touched it 😅 feels like the memory of playing when we were younger was different to how it is now, we looked at the game rules and it seems like an entirely different game to what we remember, but until we play it whenever that will be we've got an awesome piece of artwork to look at while we're having a cuppa, and scratch our head trying to figure it out, I honestly feel like Robert Langdon trying to figure out the Da Vinci Code, we'll get there.... Eventually

Hey Damien, yeah I have tried D&D but was never into it as a kid (didn't realise Baldur's Gate was based on this stuff). I much prefer Call of Cthulhu as it has more of a horror/detective feel which appeals to me as a crime fiction reader. Sometimes it can be pretty hard getting your head around the rules, but I totally rate the CoC introductory books and use the keeper screen, which has all the rules on the back so I can cheat when I'm running a game without having to memorise everything.

@@KatClay yeah I'm a massive baldurs gate fan, and I've completely forgotten about call of Cthulhu, I really have to get into it, the video games are ok, tho the sinking city is the better of the bunch, the new Baldur's gate 3 (video game) is pretty close how it plays to the board game, coz you attack by rolling the Dice, and the cinematics, oh my goodness it's breathtakingly gorgeous especially that dragon attack cinematic, had to pick my jaw of the floor it's that good, more than anything i miss the board games but can't do it thanks to COVID, so just have to make do with the Video games for now, until your next vid have a great day

Sweet! You should totally do it. I really do recommend the Storytelling Collective course if you haven't done it already, as it's a great way to learn how to get your content into the world. Let me know how you go if you do write it! :)
