HELLO FROM HANOI! This city is very special for me, because it's where Deanna and I spent 5 months earlier this year, and it's where I first picked up a video camera to start making videos on Facebook. So many memories and happiness in this magical city!
I'm beyond excited to be back in Hanoi with my family, who flew all the way from Arizona to spend 10 days in Asia with us!! (We are heading to the Philippines next!)

I've been to Vietnam 3 times and I've been to all 3 areas of it: North (Hanoi and Ha Long Bay), Central (Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue) and South Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City). Looking forward to go there again to explore more about the country. Fabulous country, really👌🇻🇳👌!!

Fact : Although its the cheapest capital like Drew said, its the second most expensive city in Vietnam Its not that Vietnam or other devoloping countries are cheap, its just developed countries are too expensive.

I rode from Hanoi then over to halong Bay then down to ho chi min city. A 1500 mile long journey that took 3 weeks It was absolutely awesome 👌

Been to Hanoi,Halong bay and SaPa. The fact is that you will fell in love with it. Even the late Anthony Bourdain's favorite place in the entire world is Vietnam. Hanoi's weather is not that warm but no that cold either.Its perfect.the smell in the streets of old quarter are just purely addictive. Its a gorgeous country and beautiful culture and people and delicious foods and affordable whatsoever. Someday i will go back in there

I heard it was cheap but didn't realize just how cheap Vietnam is, I looked online and one of the top reviewed fine dining menu on Tripadvisor has a 4 course set menu (starter, soup, main, dessert) for around £17, which is less than half of what you'd be paying in the UK

Even though I only been to Vietnam once and that was during a cruise, and spent one day there, it was an eye open, we had a good coach guide, we were taken to a nice buffet hotel restaurant , and money was confusing and cheap , we went during Chinese New Year for the cruise, and were greeted in the port on the way back with a Chinese New Year dragon dance, we went just before covid19 kicked off big style January 2020, would I go back yes, if the hotel served a mixture of international and local dishes , so I can sample the best of both.

1:21 This is only true for two conditions: 1. Only the ones has the word "Hang" in their street name. Hang means "good/ products" So "Hang Than" means "Product + Coal". There are about few dozens of them. And now actually there are only handful of them that still sell the exact same stuffs as their street names bare. 2. These "Hang Something" Streets are only located in the Old Quarter which is the densest part of the city. Everywhere else you would mostly get streets named after dead dudes.
