Not giving Jackson a box is criminal. Neto and Felix were good, but Jackson was the next best attacker after Cole and Noni. He was absolute class today.

Maresca so far has been honest and i like it he says he is going to pick players mainly on performance and so far he is doing that Madueke did well against servette and gets the start against wolves I truly think Maresca is a good coach he does have his flaws but definitely needs the time

What i learnt 1. Jackson is seriously under appreciated. One thing with Jackson is he will always step up, always contribute, score or assist something havertz failed at miserably. I will always be a Jackson defender 2. Neto makes me shed a tear. I pray he doesn't get injured cause he is a serious baller, a great signing from chelsea 3. Madueke... Fair play sir. His potential is saka level i kid you not. I hope he stays consistent but he had a brilliant game 4. Palmer my oh my whag is there to say? This guy was player of the season last year not foden. Boehly fair play buying this man cause he is arguably our best signing in YEARS 5. Caicedo was poor first half but man did he grow in that second half. Hope his not injured 6. Enzo must play deep, stop trying to play uptop 7. Mudryk... If he doesn't improve his finished 8. Felix goal icing on the cake but hes decision making was a bit poor there but meh who cares its his first game back 9. Maresca fair play sir. Playing players in their right positions. Neto sub really shows he knows whats needed to be done. I seriously hope he succeeds cause hes really growing on me.
@@LukeniV Mendes is class but he's less defensively solid than he was even just a year ago.But yes, I see him as a great CB (Veiga). And I think he might still end up as CB at Chelsea too.
Give Jackson credit for his assists. He links well with palmer as well. He has assisted some of palmer's good goals last season and he did so today while getting on the scoresheet too. It's good to see him and palmer are up and running with goal and assists. Hopefully other players will do the same.
Ever since Madueke joined Chelsea, his talent was clear to see. He has that thing in him. The only thing letting him down was his end-product and decision-making. Now he looks to be sorting out both.
Chelsea hasn’t made me cry other than them winning the UEFA but I kinda got emotional 🥹 it’s been so long I felt happy about a win man!! Thanks George for bringing your expertise in the lows and highs.
6 Observations • Palmer was brilliant, Cucurella, Enzo, Colwill & Noni did well too. Caicedo was also good & I hope his injury isn't too serious • Good to see Félix get a goal & Neto get an assist. Mudryk take notes • Excellent 2nd half performance & we're getting better at controlling games • In light of today's 2nd half I'm excited for who we could get up front (#9🇳🇬). Still need a no.1 striker. • KDH should step up • Well done to Sanchez for Palmer's goal but I still have the sinking feeling that we'll concede whenever he's in goal. Still wanna see more of Jørgensen going forward.
I see that no one likes it when Jackson play so good but when he didn’t, all comment would be about him. Take note, if Jackson is not in our team and Caiceido we will struggle so much. Though caiceido need to improve so well and can’t go below some standard. Jackson will ensure the opponent full back don’t have that much needed freedom to hurt us too much.
Biggest take away is the mentality int he second half. I’m sure we all remember being in games last season to start the second half and completely capitulating. The boys are CLEARLY taking to the coaching points. Brilliant performance
Can we just appreciate how fluent we attack. Displayed perfectly with the Felix goal. Could have been more at the end but chemistry is low and only gets better. Amazing!

I’m so glad you gave Enzo Maresca a green box. I was very impressed seeing him at the touch line still encouraging and dishing out instructions to his players at 6-2. He clearly means business.
Great win but worried about Fofana, he struggles to hold a high line from set pieces he always drops a yard too early, played the wolves players onside for their 2nd goal and then almost did the same just got away with the wolves player going slightly early for the disallowed goal from wolves in the second half, enzo pushed higher up in the second half and gusto inverted to basically play as a defensive midfielder so Wolves couldn’t break through our midfield like they did time and time again in the first half
True we don't need a striker, just one prominent CB to replace Thiago.. Ever since poche Chelsea has been raining goals as well collecting woto woto of goals
As much as I'd love osimhen, I also love the fluidity of Jackson mixing in with the other attackers that osimhen isn't quite equipped to do. I don't know. How do you say "no" to osimhen though?
Chelsea has no problem with goal scoring, it's defense arrangements. No need for any profilic striker at this time. Since goals aren't the issue with Chelsea attacks

I see giui playing conference, Jackson coming on as a sub mostly or even on the left since he plays better there imo, and Osimhen mostly starting. So they all get regular game time
Chelsea just need two markers... Play palmer as a 10, maduekwe/neto on the right wing, felix/Neto/Mudryk on the LW, Jackson/Nkunku up front. Bring Enzo in depending on what's needed in the game

Our attackers for today are what we've been clamouring for for years now, every attacking we've got is a threat even those on the bench. The only problem we've got is our defense which I think will get better going forward

The “huge mention” Caicedo needs to wake up. The forwards saved his ass today. He had good moments but he lost the ball way too often, and didn’t do well enough winning the ball back when Wolves were in transition. But he’ll improve, we saw it last season, but he needs to wake up quicker.
They will not see d connection among Jackson, Maduekwe and Palmer, they will like to give all d glory to Palmer as usual. Last season Jackson scored 14 without penalties while Palmer scored 13 without penalties, Palmer was praised to heaven and no one mentioned Jackson name in his first debut scoring 14 without penalties. Last season Salah scored 12 goals without penalties and Saka scored 10 without penalties. Haaland scored 20 without penalties while Foden score 19 without penalties. Otile of Villa scored 19 without penalties. This is measurement of great striker.

Theres nothing better then a madueke hattrick, and a combo goal from Neto and Felix, Felix first goal first game, Neto first assist at his old club, Cole Palmer absolutely SUBLIME!!!! 💯. Now that's what I want to see from my Chelsea!!!
