I just got off the Magic 2 weeks ago and I 100% agree with everything y’all said!! Yesssss Ryan was AMAZING!!! He was so fun and yes he was Everywhere he definitely made the cruise!!! Red frog was the hit bar for me and yes the casino bar kept those drinks coming! The staff was top notch our room steward Frank was the best!

They tried to put us with the already full table, and I just refused...I'm a size 20 (18 on a good day) and I was not about to squeeze into an already tight situation when there was plenty of seating elsewhere.
Idea: Always bring a foldable lunch bag, pack a lunch from the buffet for good eats off the ship. All inclusive vacation 👍 don't take a chance and get sick eating food on the islands food carts.
Except for the Mexican ports! If you go to a Mexican port, make sure all your food you bring off the ship is factory packed, otherwise they will confiscate it. I found that out the hard way! Had to wait for lunchtime to eat! Glad they served us lunch on our excursion!
I m excited for my cruise on the Magic in Oct. Glad to hear that Ryan will still be there. Since its the first cruise out of Norfolk after coming back from NY.... Hopefully Embarkation won't be as bad as y'all had. Since I am local I will be dropped off and not have to deal with the parking.
Carnival Magic was the last cruise ship I sailed on before the pandemonium 🥲 Haven’t been on vacation since… So next year we finna turn up on Mardi Gras 🥳
Thank you for mentioning how accessable this ship is for mobility chairs. Very few cruise creators do. My husband uses a mobility chair. He and I have an anniversary cruise booked on the Carnival Magic in April 2023.

I went on Magic in June this year and will be going again in 2 weeks. I had Ryan Rose as well very active cruise director, he was really everywhere. My favorite ship was horizon.
@@cynthiadowling6783 it was our first ship too in 2019 for our honeymoon! We have been on it twice since then and love the service and entertainment. It does need some renovation done and someone needs to take lead on the food issue. Everytime we cruised her, the food was not the best.
I went on Carnival Magic in 2015. I loved it. BTW, If you like the dream class, you should also try vista class. Dream class is great but I think vista class is slightly better

I was on the Carnival Magic for my first cruise in 2018. My cruise director was ok and the entertainment was ok. The pool was too small and crowded so I never got in and you're right about the ship layout, we didn't discover the back of the ship where Guy's bbq was until the last 2 days of the trip. What I loved was spending time on the beach during port days, but I'm willing to try out the Magic again since you guys have let me know about sea day brunch and the game shows.

I’ve sailed on the Magic three times and I like the boat. My favorite room was my last room 12001. It was at the end of the hallway no pass by traffic and the balcony looked forward and outward. I appreciate you two. Thanks for the incite.
Agree that Ryan Rose was awesome and much of your review, but my family found the food great. We preferred the MDR for dinner and were pleased with the food. Other food options -- Blue Iguana, Guy's Burgers, etc. -- we enjoyed more than you did. One should expect the drink pours to be weak -- there's 4000 guests aboard -- and who needs 4000 drunk people (see idiotic brawl from idiotic NY crowd)? I had not cruised in 40 years, since my folks took my brother and me on the Carnivale for my high school graduation in about 1982. Way too long. We had a great experience on the ship and highly recommend it to others.

We sailed the Magic last October. We loved it. Your correct about the food in the MDR. I wasn't impressed. I'm happy they changed the menu. They really need to go back coke products. I drink Bracardi lemon. But rum and Pepsi doesn't work. I had to drink Bahama Mamas. Our cabin steward was awesome. She was on point. I would sail on the again no problem.
Went on the Magic back in November, and I probably loved and hated the same things you all did. One part of entertainment I loved the most was the singer who performed in the area near the Alchemy Bar. I forget her name right now but she was absolutely amazing!!!
We just got off the ship 3 weeks ago. We hated the service at Italian joint. Took forever to get even a drink. Now steak house was amazing food and service. Bartender went to another bar just to get me a beer I wanted when they didn't have it there. Joey the cruise director was amazing!!! Cheerio!
Love you both and your chemistry.....Oh Crap💩. Me and my girl are on the Oct 1-6 sailing. She was hoping to meet you guys...🙁 And we got an AWESOME deal on an ocean suite. It was a "suite" deal and we got the Cheers pkg...all for less than $2200 with prepaid gratuities. This is her first cruise ever and my 10th. She loves your videos and that you are from VA . Luckily, I live less than 15 minutes from the pier and won't hafta deal with the horror's of parking and I plan to leave my car at home and take a $10 Uber ride.
I enjoy your videos and learned so much about cruising from y'all. I love the Carnival Magic too and took my first cruise to the Bahamas on her in September 2021. I just returned from sailing on her again, this time to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. I loved, loved, loved it, especially with Cruise Director Ryan Rose. I do wish that I could be on that October 10th sailing. Enjoy your next trip.
I’ve also cruised the Carnival Magic back in 2016 and was in a suite. I feel like the crew members learn the names of the cruisers in the suites. We had the same experience of being called by name from place to place.

Just got back from my 8 day cruise on magic . Came back with Covid 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ but other than that it was so much fun! The silent party was the best !
Was last on the Magic in 2019. The cruise director was Simon. It was one of the most fun ships compared to the many other Carnival ships we've been on.

I love a good maze and discovering the nooks and crannies on cruises. I do a lot of Celebrity cruise ships and honestly...they are the most visually boring ships I've ever been on
Just got off the Magic. It was great except for the last day at sea as we were following Hurricane Lee. 15ft+ waves are not cool when you get motion sick. Capt did the best he could by staying closer to shore and keeping us nose into the waves.
I'll be cruisin' on Magic leaving from NYC 7.18 and I am excited. I felt the same way about Conquest when I went in 2019 about the food. I do have a questions, do you guys have any tips for rough seas? This is the 1 part of cruising that makes me extremely nervous.
I wasn't happy with the buffet or the mdr or culinary I loved the Steakhouse food. That show in the theater wasn't bad but I could have watched the waves and been entertained
I thought I was gonna win Bingo. The shows was great, Fun, Fun 🤩 on the ship. That Comedy show sucks, people were walking out. I loved that cruise, the service was great, they were so glad we were cruising.

Just came off the Sunrise this past weekend. Thank you for sharing your tips. This was my 4th cruise and it was way smoother than the others in the past due to your tips. I hated the comic and the nightclub for the same reason as well. It was definitely a hole in the wall, with a low ceiling, real dark and dank. And it was hot and steamy. An absolute no for me. I am hoping things are different on the Celebration. I want to book for November.
We are going on the Carnival Magic April 28th to May 4th 2024. We had an upgrade once to a balcony. We already had a balcony so I really don't know what the upgrade was. After watching this video, do you think we may have a chance to get upgraded to a Jr. Suite? Thank you!
Hey!! I will also be on that sailing. You may be able to upgrade to a Ocean suite if they still have some available the jr suite is cute but in my opinion no really worth it since you already have a balcony.
