Thank you! If you are talking about the lasers in the new season content then I would recommend blinking a little earlier then you think you should. Blink hit box can be weird and if you go too late those lasers will burn you up!
@@RogerBlinks yup, new season content. I finally got all the drones in seraph station but it took me a while. And of course it's a 15 second wait to respawn. Boo. Now I'm going back after the nodes.
@@eamariles I was messing around with the lasers the other day and found out you can also eager edge sword slash straight through them, pretty neat and useful!
I've been using blink for a while now but holy shit the brain power of some of these tips is bonkers. Love it man hope you hit that algorithm kinda hard some time
You deserve so much more views ! I just discovered your channel about a month ago and i just want to say well done, the vids are nicely edited and it's really interesting. I'm hoping your channel only grows bigger as time goes and keep up the good work !
Thank you so much! I actually just hit 500 subscribers earlier today and I couldn't be more excited. Thank you for watching and I hope I can keep creating good content for you!
Roger .. i recently started playing blink in pvp . I use top tree. I have been confusing alot of players . I am on my path to becoming a master of blinklock .. I really enjoy the extra mobility it gives . My style is a little bit different. I use fast charging fusions. Once I work out the kinks .. I will be very hard to verse. I am very surprised there are not more blinks lock ..
That's awesome to hear, it sounds like a very interesting playstyle. I'll have to give it a try sometime. I think there would be more blink players but the way the community views blink is as an overall joke, which is why I make the content I do to show that if you put in the time it can be genuinely great.
lmao. yeah it's unfortunate but I know there are a lot more people that use it than that. I get more subscribers everyday so I know there are plenty of people out there using blink even if we don't see it all the time.
Thank you! And you can have a go at blink without astrocyte but the benefits it gives are pretty essential in my opinion. I suppose if you were going to sub it out for anything it would be ophidian or transversives, if you have any success with other exotics then let me know.
So, Warlock Main here, I like blink in pvp (and pve, just not for platforming). I dont know where you can get that Blink helm, and I'm pretty sure I dont have it. Is it a world drop? Do I need any DLCs to grab it? Furthermore, thanks for the videos on Blink. I can time my Blinks in a way to dodge, flank, or drop down on foes with shotguns - naturally, the last one being my favorite (by a little).
You can get astrocyte verse from many places including world drops. Sometimes they will drop at the end of a PvP match or Xur will occasionally sell it. It was from a very old DLC so everybody can get it. Thank you for watching!
@@RogerBlinks Thanks again! I have another question. I forget if it's this video, or another one, but you're breaking down Mobility - and how much we should have while running Blink (Heck, it could be another RU-vidr entirely). In any case, you're looking at the ground right before you end the jump, which you turn into a slide, shortly afterwards. Does that have an effect on sliding, to make it longer? Is it to avoid the "stagger" of the character, when he lands?
@@andrewgordon3589 hey sorry for late reply, life is busy. I do have another video where I break down mobility with blink. If you're asking about sliding out of a blink it's a great tool to use. It let's you change direction on a dime and really dictate where you go after landing from a blink. If you land too steep you will still get staggered so be careful of that. But a slide out of a blink is one of my favorite things to do for the extra distance and direction control.
@@RogerBlinks i mean it's more than a visual one cause i have instant weapon ready speed and can shout immediately, i might look into it and see if i can find a way to guarantee it to happen
If you read other comments you will see that I didn't have the best mic at the time and wasn't editing for long at the point I made the video. I made what I could with what I had.
@@RogerBlinks cant disagree I usually like Blink in both pvp and pve. Pvp is self-explanatory, but pve, the foes shoot where your body is. In the video, you talk about how your hitbox stays where you blinked, and "teleports" to you, when the blink finishes. This gives me, in pve, probably 1/5 of a second where I'm not getting hit. It's not much, but it comes in handy.
