Great video. I started reselling in 2020 with clothes from my own closet. I retired from my corporate job and literally had 4 closets stuffed with clothes and shoes. Many new with tags. I received clothes from my family and their friends. Still to this day. Good luck new sellers.

As a part-timer who has been reselling very, very, sporadically forever, but more seriously for almost two years, this is really solid advice. Especially the part about make sure you even like it. I would add to that if you do like, what do you like, do you want to be an everything seller, do you love reselling clothes, do you hate reselling clothes? Nikki doesn't sell a lot of hard goods from what I've seen. So, it doesn't come up that much, although she has talked about it, but some people focus on that and don't really do clothes, shoes, bags, etc. Also, some people focus on vintage specifically. It's okay to have a niche and also okay to be an everything seller. What's important is that you will list the items you acquire and for me that works best when I'm excited about them. So, I prefer to hand select my inventory.

Garage sales or yard sales are absolutely amazing and in my area way cheaper than thrift stores. Unfortunately, the closest Goodwill bins is about 3-4 hours away. Hopefully we will have one closer soon but that's just a rumor for now. Thanks so much for your videos I have learned sooo much from you!! I made the mistake of picking up all kinds of things from the bins purely because they were inexpensive…only to have those items sit in my death pile forever. The best advice I’ve heard is to not pick it up if you’re not excited to list it. Definitely makes it easier to leave things behind now!

Hey Nikki, thanks for content, a subject to talk about is whether you should do reselling part-time or full-time for those who are currently working who hate their job and see videos on RU-vid by resellers claiming that full time is best. When should someone even consider ever doing reselling full-time as a new reseller. Also can you consider doing a mystery unboxing of a hard or none clothing goods box from one of those Amazon or Target pallet sellers where they break a pallet down into smaller boxes. Now, in regards to those biting flies, it appears that you might have small black flies or bitting midges and it's only the females that love to bite as it helps them procreate. the only suggestions they have online is to put a powerful fanblowing at the door so when you open it it blows the flies back out, wearing long but loose fitting clothing to cover all skin, it i's to hot wear DEET insect repelant and make sure you don't have any standing water or ponds near your door as you said you do laundry outside as that is their favorite type of "CRIB" where they like to hang out before looking to bite someone. Also, can burn a citrionelle candle by the doorway in California (Citronelle is banned in some places).other than that they don't give you much options to get ride of them. anyway so sorry to hear you and your family are going through that.Thanks for content

We don’t have a Goodwill bins in Madison Wi, but we have a St. Vincent de Paul Dig & Save. Our price per pound just increased from $1.25 to a $1.50 for clothing etc. Hard goods is $0.25 per pound. Although the price is great, the rotation is very limited.

I've been reselling for about 10 months & still have a lot to learn. I'm really looking forward to your upcoming videos. Since you've thrifted all throughout the US, maybe you can let us know which states are best for thrifting certain brands. For example, Lilly Pulitzer/FL, Vera Bradley/IN, etc. This way, when we travel, we'll know what to look for.

Color of the day Sunday - Wednesday is 50% off ; Thursday's color of the day is $2.79, Friday color of the day is $2.49 and Saturday color of the day is $1.99. I used to go to the bins and clean up. But after the price when up, digging through those awful bins, the rude people, the cost of gas and the nearest being 75 miles away it was no longer cost effective.
