Nice idea but not at all what I expected from the “competition” idea. I figured you would choose six popular books from the years and then put those against your favorites from those years (like your old reviews or memories of those books). Didn’t expect the polls or so many rereads.
Congrats on 6 years!!🎉❤ On annotations ruining books: I got these really cool transparent sticky notes off Amazon so I can write my little notes but if I need to get rid of the book I can take them out and either transfer them to a new copy or get rid of them and then the book is brand new again. you do have to use specific types of pens with them (my usual felt tips don't work they just smear 😭) but still definitely worth a try
Congratulations on 6 years!!! And such a fun video idea. Pausing now because I have to get up and start my day BUT I'm at the discussion of Sadie. I think maybe the issue might be that when you read the book the first time, it was so new and a novel concept. Not many books at this time had done the podcast element but now it seems like that's just bog standard for thrillers and crime books. Feels less groundbreaking the second go round. At least that's what came to mind for me.... onto the rest of the video.
Congratulations on 6 years on RU-vid. I have Stalking Jack The Ripper and Addie LaRue and haven't read either one. So glad your reread were successful! 🎉❤
Congratulations to you on your six years you deserve it as you are amazing love your amazing channel I am so sorry to spoil this day but I have been absent for the last month due too my mother battling cancer which I am sad to say she has lost ❤❤❤love your Aussie family friend John
I HATE crime fiction. But you’ve talked me into trying Stalking Jack the Ripper. Might I recommend The Five by Hallie Rubenhold? It’s a breakdown of the poor women who were killed and how the “old whores” stereotype did them so dirty.
