Nicole Kerr was in a terrifying car accident when she was 19-years-old. She died at the accident scene and had an incredible Near Death Experience (NDE). @TomeRodrigo I appreciate your reply to a very nasty comment that had a lot of assumptions and seemed almost gleeful to let us know we going to hell. Unfortunately when I deleted that person's comment your comment was attached to it. This podcast is about sharing what people have seen whatever that is, some have religious beliefs, some don't. Most believe in something after their NDE, but I have heard of an NDEr who doesn't. I have great respect for my guests and their willingness to share their stories. I also respect the various beliefs or non-beliefs of my listeners. We all have to reach our own conclusions on faith. But I will remove hateful comments. Thank you for letting the commenter know his comment was inappropriate.

During my experience, I vibrated in all that love with ecstatic happiness. I remember thinking "why would any body agree to be human?" And the one word answer popped in my head: "Love!"

I think becoming human gives us an appreciation for love. We appreciate a warm sunny Spring day more after a cold winter. I have gained empathy and understanding for others through my own pain and suffering. We come here to experience things we can’t in the perfection of Heaven. Of course there is much more to it than that but I believe that is part of it.

This was such a important discussion for me to hear---I lost my identical twin sister in May of 2022, and the grief has been with me all this time--sort of bordering everything I do. All who know me feel that I have managed to adjust---but I do find it so very hard to truly accept that she is gone. We were so very, very close, and I miss her so much. So, listening to Nicole has meant the world to me. I feel I can 'go on'--and, at 77, I have already lived much of my life. (Oh! And what a special 'bonus' to know our dear pets will see us again!) "Look forward to" is not quite what I mean (I'm not hoping for my own demise!!!)--but when the moments comes, I will be so overjoyed to see Alice's face again. (She died so very suddenly from Sepsis--it was such an overwhelming shock.) We were lucky to look and feel much younger than our physical age--and spent so much time laughing and talking about everything! Her death was so shockingly unexpected.) The human part of us has to deal with the grief, suffering, loss, shock (heavy emotions) of a loved ones physical death that we must carefully and compassionately hold and heal. Hi Nicole.. obvious question… WE DO ASK. But we don’t always get help. So why are we told just ask for help when it’s not always given. A common response is, it may not come in the way you expect it, but that still does not address the elephant in the room which is WE DO ASK.. but help is not always given. So why is this false hope given to us if help is not always PROMISED. It seems so cruel.

Obviously I can't answer your question directly, or even as directly as Nicole could, but I'd like to share my own point of view if you don't mind. I think our point of view here on Earth is quite different from the point of view of those on the other side. We actually know so little about the true purpose of our life in the broadest context, that is, with eternity in mind, whereas this would be obvious and apparent to those on the other side. The nature of the help we seek or the goals we have in mind are naturally based on our limited point of view, and those seeking to help us from the other side cannot do something for us that from our limited point of view would seem helpful and good but in the longer term would be anything but. Besides, part of life here on this side is learning to make our own decisions and stand on our own two feet; if everything were done for us without error or misstep there would be little value in us being here at all. Why do you think Nicole had no memory of her experience for 19 years? I think it was because she had to learn to make her own decisions without interference before she would be ready to collaborate in bigger and better things. It's good to ask for help, but instead of expecting a genie in a bottle, use the occasion to focus with sincerity and humility on what may really be needed in a given circumstance, and believe that there are those who know more what's best for you than you may presently know, maybe sometimes the best thing is to leave the decision up to you so that you can learn and grow from the lessons which that gives, but have faith you are not being ignored out of malice. When questions remain unanswered, question the questions. Self-insight is never a move in the wrong direction.

@mmlfdxl I think Steve answered this very well. (Thank you Steve). I am so sorry for any hardships you are going through. Life can really be difficult at times and I am so sorry. This is such a hard question and it can feel like we are being ignored but there often is a bigger picture we can’t understand. I know God hears your requests and if they feel unanswered there is a reason - but unfortunately it may not be obvious to us what that reason is. I will say that in listening to all of my episodes I get a little better understanding of the answer to why some prayers feel like they are unanswered. I also think God sometimes answers in ways we don’t recognize or answers years after the fact and I think there is purpose in that. Other times he knows there is a higher purpose in our suffering. My earthly self would love to magically help you with your requests but not only is that impossible it is also not part of God’s plans. What I can do is let you know I care and let you know I’ve prayed for you. Sending love.

I understand and can empathise. It’s difficult because before we incarnate, we choose our life plan, and pick the challenges and triumphs we wish to experience for our souls growth. For example I chose to incarnate with a disability to grow certain aspects of myself. Can I ask my guides to heal me of my disability? Probably not, as that would go against my souls wish to develop through this challenge. Can I ask for mental and emotional strength to help me overcome my challenges? Yes! And they do this regularly.

Thank you Steve, Heather and Carlos.. (my name’s Kate by the way). I really appreciate and admire your genuine and heartfelt responses. Thank you. And Thank you Heather for your prayers. My concern is really around trust and the integrity of the message. I care about truth and accuracy, because I'm looking to find what I can trust. I'm sure others are too. Why are people like Nicole given these urgent messages such as ‘YOU NEED TO ASK FOR HELP’ when the help is not always given. It’s just not right. If i switched positions for a moment, and I were the guides or god, or angels or whoever is giving these messages, and you know that your job is to help, and to not do any harm, i would not give the messages to people saying that I WILL help them, if it’s simply not true. It's offering false hope. And it’s misleading. That causes harm. It's damaging to people's trust and hope. Shouldn’t we expect integrity from our guides? Or the people giving this message. The message is simply not correct. The message should be ' You can ask for help, but asking for help won’t always help. You come here to learn to get through hard things. You give yourself these hard things. So you shouldn’t rely on us for help because you won’t always be given help. Sometimes we will help you, but not always in ways that you want or not in ways that you can see and not always at the times that you need it. So you can ask for help but don't expect that you will be helped. You need to figure out how to do things on your own, even if you're being harmed or suffering or dying. Asking for help is not something you can rely on to help you or get you out of your situation'. That's more accurate. It's harsh but essentially that's a more accurate description based on people’s experience and explanation.

I get what you're saying but let's take an extreme example: If I want to swindle someone out of their life savings I should be able to turn to the angels for help, since they said just ask right? I think you can see the absurdity of that, so at least in that way it seems the message can't be so universal as all that, and who would want it to be? So to say the message is immoral because it's not universal is a logical fallacy, since if it was universal then it would be truly immoral. The other problem is how we evaluate help or replies. If we want our solution to the problem and just want them to expedite it, well, our solution may not be the right one, or it may be the right one but come from a completely different direction or in a more roundabout way then we were expecting and surprise us when we're least expecting it. I certainly don't have all the answers but I'd like to believe that when I'm in difficulty I've done all I can do individually to the best of my ability, or even my willingness, and ask for help besides, this way if no obvious help arrives I can at least examine myself and see if I've at least done my part, or maybe there's that little bit more I could have done but didn't for whatever reason. I'm not saying all our prayers will be met by silence but to assume we ourselves know the right thing to happen in every case and simply lack the power to manifest it is probably not the case. Don't mistake their offer for help as a promise to make all of life easy in all circumstances, though faith can make them easier than otherwise. A flower in the sun will wither and die without periods of rain.

@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch When we as human beings can follow simple rules, always respect one another, never inflict your beliefs onto another, never take more than you need and very importantly follow your instincts. I have told my now adult children, if something feels right to you it is, if something feels wrong to you it is. What is right for one person is not right for another. I have flat lined twice & didn't tell my children about the gut feelings I had or my psychic ability,. one of my sons noticed when about age 12. I would do my best not to but would blurt out names before they were announced while watching tv or similar or a friends baby's name & gender before it was born. I keep a lot of that to myself as it is not always well received or welcome. I told my husband of my vision in a dream my kids were 11 weeks old & I was waking up every two hours but still had a vivid dream of a plane going behind a building on a clear blue sky day & was concerned as he was flying the next day 9/11.

The joke will on the cynics who,despite countless testimonies of NDE's insist on inflicting their views on the rest of us,which is a waste of their time. If they don't like the videos here, might I suggest they go elsewhere. When my Dad died,he visited my brother who had been his main carer;it was a touching gesture before he moved on to the next realm.There is muc more beyond the veil and our earthly lives are but short passages. Thankyou to all who contribute to this channel and others of a similar kind.Our collective consciousness is awakening.

Heather, your videos are so helpful. I am dealing with unimaginable trauma from my mother’s vicious abuse of me. I had NDE’s regularly from 14 months till now at 49 because of my soul fleeing my body because of violence and memories of violence. To be told that these experiences are real and I can trust them is so helpful. God bless you and all your guests. You are a shining light, and so are they.

Linda thanks for the reinforcement regarding angels! Also my EMT (former Navy Seal) tore me up as well. He won the Phoenix Award from the state of Colorado for bringing me ( a clinically dead) person back to life. He said I was the only one who ever came back to thank him. Lovely soul.

Hi Nicole and Heather, I am so drawn to the stories of peoples near death experiences. I have not had one myself, but I have spiritual awareness experiences, that have similarities. Is there a group like IANDS out there somewhere, for people like me, to connect and talk with others about their spiritual experiences?

You can do that with IANDS. They welcome all kinds of people and have online groups where you and others can exchange spiritual experiences. I have not had an NDE but I started going to their conferences before I did this podcast. This year their conference is in Phoenix. They have lots of info at IANDS.org

Heather - didn't know you are from Buffalo Minnesota - we used to rent a cabin at Lake John outside Annandale - I grew up in Minneapolis. I finished my master's degree at U of MN-Twin Cities by doing intensive qigong meditation through the African Studies Department. I fasted for a week - and meditated and my energy increased - and Chunyi Lin was in full lotus at a Christian retreat center - it might have been around Buffalo - around there. I saw humans shaped like yellow light - float in from the woods - and they hovered around Chunyi LIn as he was in full lotus meditation! He said, "since someone can see this I will explain what it is." And he said how he regularly heals ghosts who come to him to get healed. He sends the ghosts into the bright light.

Yes. I grew up in Buffalo. I still have family in and around Minneapolis as well as Annandale. I also went to U of M for my first degree in Journalism. And I also tried qigong many many years ago but nothing at the level that you did. That must have been an awesome experience in the woods. Ok, I am adding I got my Master's Degree in Public Health (Nutrition) from U of M. Plus my Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (interned at St. Paul's Children's Hospital) I lasted 3 winters then headed back South. And I have take qigong and tai chi and totally support people doing these modalities! FUN - Go Gophers

Ironically while I was a graduate student at U of MN-Twin Cities I worked as an activist for labor rights of the young ladies sewing the sports apparel in sweatshops - and after nine meetings with the general counsel (and his PR committee) we finally got the University to join the "Worker's Rights Consortium" - an independent nonprofit investigating group that leads boycotts for workers rights. The President of the U actually emailed me stating, - I have the quote somewhere: "Drew, for the sake of your personal health I strongly urge you to abandon your unlimited hunger strike> You have accomplished a great deal this year, and I do not think you should put yourself at risk." email dated March 25, 2000. Because of my qigong training I knew I could do an unlimited hunger strike and apparently the University president took me seriously since soon after he signed up the University as joining the WRC. hahaha. Oh the funny thing is I didn't even know how to spell Goldy or Goldie? I still don't - my activist gf at the time laughed about this.

This was an absolutely beautiful experience (although traumatic), but I do wonder what happens to people who don't ask for help? I hope my son did, but I dont know. It would seem that an angel would eventually help, but she said they won't interfere with "free will". Am I understanding that correctly? By the way, thank you both.❤❤❤ and the EMT is such a sweetheart. Headed to Part 2...maybe my questions will be answered.

My guess is they will help as much as they can as long as their help wouldn't directly conflict with the persons free will. If the person just simply doesn't know what to ask for or that they can ask, circumstances may arise 'naturally' that are helpful. In other words, I don't think you have to ask them for every single thing or they will do nothing. I think they are always trying to help, but if the person is determined to move in a certain direction they won't interfere. Of course if the person consciously asks for help it will make their job easier because that implies a certain level of receptivity.

@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch // he wasn't an atheist...raised Christian (although I've personally walked away from the religious dogma since then (long story), but now I'm extremely spiritual) , but Jacob was just 20. I know he was busy worrying about his career and his girlfriend, of course, so I don't know what was going on in his mind during the ordeal. I would think he would ask for God's help since that's how he was raised, but again, I don't know. That's why I'm always searching and will forever watch your channel. Each one of your podcasts gives us pearls of wisdom. By the way, after my son was murdered (while changing a flat tire)., his long-time girlfriend I mentioned, well she rented a motel room and took her own life. It's all been so devastating, to say the least. I truly appreciate all your valuable videos and can't wait for Jon Burke now. Much love to you Heather.

I am inspired by this, but there are some who do get judged in their Nde, even suffering greatly and afflicted. I don’t see how someone else can say that no one gets judged over there, just because they were not. No one should expect everyone will have the same experience or situation that they have. Some people clearly do have negative near death experiences. And there is such a thing as being cruel and evil in this life and needing correction either in this life or the next. That is what the Bible actually says, not that some will be lost forever, but that some will be purged, corrected, perfected in the afterlife, some more than others.

I agree. I think suffering can be a reality both here and elsewhere, but I don't think we can easily discern who's going where, as that's kind of God's job not ours. There are certain things God has given us that it seems to me are best applied to ourselves and not others, or at the very least applied to ourselves first. These are 'will' and 'judgement'. If we believe in our own free will, we must believe in the free will of others. If we judge others we must judge ourselves to the same standard.

I think you make a great point Greg that there are a variety of experiences and no single one has anywhere close to all the answers but they do give us a peek into what is next. One of my guests, Peter Panagore said his life review was a hellish experience for him because he was so ashamed of his actions. I do think we will judge ourselves. I also think we can choose to reject God which could lead us to a hellish place. I plan to examine this more in depth in 2024 so please watch for that. Thanks so much for your thoughts.

Authors often do give a lot away for free, like right here in this interview. It is a big misconception that authors make a lot of money. Most make very little. I designed and published a coloring book years back because it was something I found very fulfilling. I lost money. But I didn’t mind because I enjoyed the process so much and I forever have that to pass down to my kids and future grandchildren. I don’t think we have to be so cynical all the time about people’s motives. There motive may be very different than what you believe.

Great question. Some people believe they have been visited. When my dad died for the first year he showed up quite often in my dreams. He often said he was just saying hello and he couldn’t stay. Then after a year it stopped. Was it just dreams? Or was he visiting? I don’t know but I like to believe he was visiting to get me through that first very difficult year.

They do but as the exception rather than the rule. You might ask why is the exception not the rule? Because there are relationships only appropriate to each plane. If one plane always interposed on another it would encourage the relationship to continue only on that plane. When a loved one leaves us we're encouraged to elevate the relationship to one of the heart. Think of the Earthly life as a seed, now that seed has become a beautiful flower for you to carry in your heart.

Ok. But let's be clear. She didn't die. Her brain still had electrical and chemical activity. But she had just as real of NDE as anyone else has. Her hallucination was just as real as anyone's. By the way, your brain creates a hallucination from the signals it receives from the eyes. Your brain is a dark place, but it does an amazing job of creating hallucinations. It's why our dreams seem so real.

Hallucination? Let's be clear.....Most people (first and foremost medical personnel) recognize the difference between hallucinations, and near-death experiences. Hallucinations are random, chaotic, bizarre, non-sensical visions. These NDE experiences are the opposite--clear, and concise--often containing information/knowledge of things seen and heard that are confirmed later by those on the scene. Absolute feelings of reality are present--not the confusion that hallucinations bring. Do you really think that millions of people the world over are having the same hallucination--with the same basic core elements? Due to the fact that you cannot comprehend the VAST difference between the 2 types of experiences, you're comment is not based in reality. Just to be clear....

Hi Mary, No in fact there is a whole chapter in the new IANDS published book, Impressions of NDE by Coppes that address distressing NDE's. AT the beginning of the chapter he states, "First , it is wrong to think that fearful experiences only happen to "bad" people and heavenly experiences only to "good" people. Second the terms "good" and "bad" don't appy on the other side of life. Those terms belong to our Earth and are created by humans to evaluate others or themselves." He goes on to categorize 3 types of distressing NDEs.

If there is disagreement or misunderstanding about the complex spiritual reality around us why do you automatically attribute it to satan? That seems to me rather a case of misplaced faith then a result of rational thought. God has not created us to be all-knowing. The spiritual process just like any other involves learning, developing theories and testing them, using our God-given mind to separate the true from the false. To cry 'satan' every time you don't understand something arises from a previous uncritical era of humanity that was ruled by fear. I'm not saying your assertion is any less true than that of others, I just think you would do well to have a more rational basis on which to stand your theories than stating that every one else's comes from satan. What makes sense to me is that some form of punishment exists, even if just the natural and supernatural results of our own actions. If there's any meeting ground between these two seemingly opposing theories let's try to rationally discover it rather than creating an unbridgeable gap of intolerance between them. I think one key to such a reconciliation may be found in the individual will of the subject. In Christianity the individual will is central to salvation, so reason would indicate it would also be central to damnation. I've heard so many times that we are not judged, yet we judge ourselves, which may in the end be the harshest judge of all. In Mathew 7 Jesus said "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

You don't know much about psychology and brain development you religiously lobotomized person. It's like god judging you because you were born female, or you have ADHD. It's like you chose it on purpose and now you are going to hell for it. Makes perfect sense. The human condition is not a human failure, there must be no judgment. We don’t ask angels for help. We ask Father God and Jesus. We are not to seek to develop a relationship with angels. We are to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, who will lead us subsequently to the Father. You must be born again. Repent of your sins and make Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life. Strive to enter in at the strait gate, for narrow is the way to salvation, and few there be that find it. Aim daily to walk in truth, righteousness, and holiness. God bless
