I’ve heard people complain of how dull the wire act from Nouvelle Expérience was, but a guy in his seventies doing comedy on wires is pretty impressive to me

Funny enough that guy (Brian Dewhurst) is a currently a clown at another cirque show Mystere. His son Nicky who was the guy doing the tight wire act also works as a clown on Zumanity, both shows are in Las Vegas.

For years, Reinvente was the only one I was familiar with. Didn't know they had other shows until I saw Allegria in 2002. I first saw Reinvente on HBO with my dad way back in 1987 or 1988. It's the one I have the most nostalgia for.

Saltimbanco was the first one I ever saw. It was 1995 and at the Albert Hall in London. I was 4 years old and for a while all I wanted to do was be in the show. We saw it again just before it closed. Looking forward to he Alegria show - that became a solid favourite. We were lucky to see that 3x. I really hope some day you and your incredibly talented performers will be back and as brilliant as ever 💖

Saltimbanco was always a favourite with my mom, brother and I. My mom has been gone for 10 years now, and my brother and I have made it a tradition the last few years to watch it every year on the anniversary of our mom's passing as a memory. ❤ We always enjoyed the giant swing routine. 🙂❤

To me, it feels like what has always made Cirque shine has been its pure essence. It's a pity that many of their productions from the last 15 years have been just commercial and based on other non-related succesful products... I don't get the point of it, they just keep failing, come and flop, while the really great shows keep going on for decades... why the need to waste talent and money that way? Just keep it Cirque!

Every time I see the ARTISTS (with capital letters) from cirque du soleil, I am amazed by the magnificent things humans can achieve. Hats off ! They show we are capable of unlimited acts, they return the faith I have sometimes lost for humanity! Cést fantastique et réjouissance, BRAVO!!

Saltimbanco was my first show too. I saw the big top on my way home from work one day. Pulled in to see if there were any tickets left. I had never heard of Cirque de Soliel. I think my ticket was around $50. Went in, saw the show, was BLOWN AWAY! BLOWN AWAY, truly. I think I saw it 3 times more before it left bc I had to take my 6 nephews and friends and other family members. I still have the cassette with the score.

I saw the Reinvente show in 89 when I was 6..then saw the next 5 shows each time they came to town. I grew up on those early Cirque shows and love them dearly.

i saw saltimbanco live when i was six years old, i don’t remember a lot, just the colors and the wonder, after that i was lucky to see alegria, kooza and corteo, cirque du soleil is my childhood, i had the saltimbanco dvd as a child and lost it, seeing this brought a thousand memories back, i used to listen to the soundtrack everyday! loved seeing this once again

Jamás pensé ver "boleadoras argentinas" en un show de circo. buena apuesta para quienes no la conocen. En el sur de América, en la Patagonia las usan para cazar animales. I never thought I would see "Argentine boleadoras" at a circus show. Good bet for those who do not know it. In southern America, in Patagonia they are used to hunt animals.

Witam. Cenię i szanuję Cirque du Soleil . Dlaczego oglądalność Wam spada na YT? Bo Ci co Was znają to znają i Waszą historię i spektakle. Dlaczego do Polski przybywacie z tak starym repertuarem za ogromne dla Nas sumy za bilety? Skoro w Niemczech wystawiacie Toruk? To Wam Euro nie śmierdzi a PLN jest zły? - choć cena w przeliczeniu jest taka sama za bilety w Polsce? Jak wiem gra i pracuje tam wielu Polaków u Was. Jak kierownictwo nie zrozumie to rodacy z Pl pewnie przetłumaczą mój tekst. Ka i Toruk pokażcie...:)
