It's not tongues. It goes against scripture. The Holy Spirit gives the utterance. You can't control the utterance because you can't control the Holy Spirit. None of the Apostles commanded people to speak in tongues. Read scripture.

Let me clear this one up: Speaking in tongues is a gift from the holy Spirit, you can ask for it, and then you can speak and pray in tongues. You can watch the video from pastor Vlad savchuk. He suggests to pray at least 15 min in tongues a day. It's the perfect prayer led by the holy Spirit, even if you may not understand what you pray. Bless you

From what I saw with my own eyes, the girl wanting to receive the gift of tongues was getting blocked by her mind so I suggested that she copy the person leading her into the baptism and she started syncing her tongue exactly like the leading person, sound for sound at the same time it came out and then she finally received it and her tongue changed. This was a word of knowledge from the Lord as he led me over there. Stay blessed.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Jesus nor the Apostles preached about praying in tongues. The Holy Spirit gives the utterance uncontrollably and it doesn't come on command. Do yourself a favor and get far away from this false doctrine. This is called the Kundalini ( it's a Hindu spirit) it's the false Holy Spirit which leads people down the path of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which is the only unforgivable sin. Real tounges is meant to glorify God through the spreading of the gospel in different languages and is best to be paired with the gift of prophesying which isnt even knowing the future real prophesying is knowing the inner workings of someone else's heart and declaring it to them so they are left with no choice but to believe that Christ is within you. The book of Acts and Corinthians speaks of this. I've literally seen men who've received the Holy Spirit with so many signs from God that they have only to turn away because they desire something that appears more supernatural and they chase after this false tounges with a pride and desire to be special wanting a unique power that they can boast in and after they received the false spirit I've watched God withdraw from them an curse them. From my own experience when I first came to Christ I didn't know nothing 20 years old fresh out of the world I went to God to show me the way after all Jesus is the way the truth and the life right? I went to church after church learning all these false doctrines and not knowing what to do or think I went straight to the Lord in my prayer closet ( my heart my most secret place) and I asked Him to show me the real and show me the fake because I have no idea and i do not want to speak falsely of Him , Immediately He told me to open to Genesis 11 then the book of Acts then Corinthians 14-16 and He opened my understanding of the scriptures ( Jesus opened His disciples understanding of the scriptures btw) and I knew at that point what tounges was and I went to the church where a false teacher was continually trying to coerce me and my wife to speak in tounges telling us that we aren't saved and that we don't have the Holy Spirit and even calling my son a bastard because we chose to be married by God and not by man! This man wanted so badly to deceive us He literally told me do you want the gift of tounges? I said yes he laid his hand on me and told me to just start rambling with him and let it happen whatever comes into mind just say it. THE VICTORY THAT CAME AFTER WAS NOT THE VICTORY HE HAD IN MIND BECAUSE I SPOKE IN HEBREW SAYING RUACH HAKODESH MEANING HOLY SPIRIT!!!!! and that mans face lit up in excitement and I stared at him knowing that he had absolutely no idea what I just said and that he was a complete fool because in that moment the Holy Spirit showed Himself to that man and he was so drunk on the Babylonian wine of fornication that he couldn't even recognize the true wine that is Christ in me standing right in front of him. ( This i say in reference to when Jesus turned water into wine) in the Bible they could tell the difference physically but how can you tell the difference spiritually if your discernment hasn't been exercised? He is encouraging us all to challenge ourselves to push in prayer to speak in tongues longer than we usually would. 1 Corinthians 14 says, " For anyone who speaks in a tongue [1] does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit. [2] So he is not speaking to us but he Is speaking to Our Father God in a heavenly language. It says in the word when you don’t know what to pray the Holy Spirit will intercede for us through unintelligible words. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words” (Romans 8:26 ESV). Which is what you hear on this video. The spiritual gift of tongues(speaking in other languages) was given to the Apostles and the disciples traveling with them. It was a time where people needed signs and wonders to believe. Yes Jesus does mention this, I believe because this is a ministry that is teaching and building people up in the faith, he put this up for a specific purpose. Right now by the spirit there is a need for prayer, and for us as the body of Christ to learn how to pray. I don't believe pastor rich like in the scripture loves to do this for his own gain but this is for the body of christ to learn and for the prayer to be released into the atmosphere. The word says don't be like the hypocrites that LOVE to pray standing in public places, they love to do it - their intention on doing it is for attention and that will be their reward.
