Rare Sixties Girl Group / Doo-Wop The Azaleas Hey Little Boy. An unreleased acetate produced at Regent Sound Studios, Inc. out of New York. ROCMASTERS ( B M I ) Later to be on a CD compilation in 1994 along with their other single. I'm guessing this was recorded in about 1960, some may even say late 50's, but I'm going for very early sixties. Their other 45 Hands Off / Our Drummer Can't Keep Time was released in 1963. I love the lead's voice, it reminds me of a few others, one being a less throaty Brenda Reid lol. I like the way she says "Little Bohooy!" and the "Doo - Lang Doo - Langs". Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while, my partner took very ill at the end of April and I have been spending a lot more time with him and helping him in his recovering, I had to upload something on this date cos I wanted to dedicate a song to Amy Winehouse, who sadly left us 11 years ago today. I can't believe it's been that long, I never miss her anniversary, no matter what. R.I.P Amy 14 / 09 / 1983 - 23 / 07 / 2011 love and miss you loads xxxxxxx "Do Anything To Please PLEASE You" "Do Oooo Ooo Ooo Oooh Whooo Dooo Ooooh Whooh" ❤
