Try Motoz Dual Venture on the front. You'll get the same on-off road performance with improved smoothness and will get rid of that wear pattern. Longevity is also better ✌🏻
Just ordered this tyres for my TR Tiger 900 RP. Used K60 Scout but they where less efective on mud. And that's a huge problem overhere in the woods after rain. Live on canary islands. I'll tell you my experience soon.
That wear with a heavy ADV bike is totally normal TKC 80 wears the same way, any knobby with massive weight & massive Brembo braking power with wear that trailing edge just like that I been through many sets of knobs & well yes its always a comprise of sorts, I would minimize how much I'm squeezing the front brake & only use 1 finger while at the same increase the rear brakes use {& yes increased rear pads wear; but that's cheap & easy to replace with EBC pads More engine braking & rear pedal pressure, less coming in hot & mashing the front lever= I found I could nearly double the front tire wear by doing that I'm now running Dunlop trailmax mission front {a@ 33 psi} & motoz tractionator gps rear {@ 36 psi} yes this is slightly more pavement oriented, I suppose 70/30 = I have only put a thousand kilometers on this tire setup but I absolutely can rail corners at 110 kph that I didn't feel as comfortable with the knobs in the past I've had my 1290R for 5 yrs now {Vancouver/Whistler area)
Tires is the make the biggest difference in a bikes capability. I have been going down the same gravel and dirt roads that I've been riding on my Tenere 10 years. 50-50 tires Heidenaus, k60s, EO7s, and now my second rear tractionator gps. First rear lasted me 18k smiles. I just bought a 2023 1200 Gt EX. Got the shite scared out of me on gravel roads that I've ridden my Tenere down with one hand on the bars with 50-50 tires for years. Got a set ready to put on my GT Explorer
