I find them to be good speakers, plus they're vintage and speakers like those just have a place in my heart. I don't mean to offend anyone and besides they are over 30 years old destroying them will not help us our replenish resources😊

@@themechanicalwolf5081 I'm right with you. These aren't bad speakers at all if you can get a good deal on them. Sure, the build quality of the enclosures (using ½" Particle board w/minor bracing & old couch foam) isn't all that great, but the drivers are decent - with woofers ranging from 6-½" to 12" depending on the model you have, either made by Oxford or Rola, and these woofers either have a treated folded paper surround or butyl rubber, unlike the foams on most other drivers that would deteriorate with age. They don't have a ton of excursion capabilities but, they're efficient and can take a beating (I mean, look at the size of the voice coil on that thing! It even managed to hold up for a good few seconds while being tortured, despite having a cardboard-like former. That's a quality build right there!). The horn tweeters are made by Foster, and higher end models also have a midrange driver by Foster. The 2500Hz crossover consists of a capacitor, and a wound-up coil, so it's not some effortless junk. Provides a very balanced sound, kinda like Hi-Fi on a steak dinner budget. I just purchased a 6-½" Rola Woofer from an Allegro 1000 on the Bay, and hope to put it to good use. For the time being though, I'll just have fun with it in free-air, with the included Zenith-spec female bullet leads.

JBL Bass Tester Craigslist, eBay, thrift stores, and garage sales are good places to look. I got my 1200 watt peavey from Craigslist for 100 bucks. Just make sure to test it out before buying it if you can

Joe Tricep I found an amp in a thrift store it was 230watts old PA amp but it was 500 bucks and that was the only amp and there is not many garage sales around the city right now so eBay would be my only choice, but hell yea the thrift stores has many speaker for a buck or so, but thanks
