Thanks for the lap again Misha, it was good to see what my GT-R can really do with all the mods I've done to it so far! Was great meeting you.. I will come back with some better upgrades next year so the suspension is stiffer and the car feels more planted. Cheers
I mean it’s all relative though isn’t it. Where I live in the US, we don’t have some of the beautiful, winding, European roads where handling and braking add so much speed and enjoyment to the drive. So we are left with trying to make an otherwise boring, flat highway more interesting somehow.
@@AP-op4rc Unfortunately, the entirety of (Western) Europe has been turned into an Orwellian surveillance hellhole where chances of getting fined (and depending on country and severity, get a lawsuit with chances of losing your car and drivers license) are too high to enjoy any of these roads you are talking about. They use ANPR cameras to check average speeds and in my country fun, twisty, winding roads are now getting the full treatment (after the highways have already been laden with them for more than a decade).
Agreed! I used to think they sounded like trombones a decade ago, but the sound has grown on me quite well. I'm like a dog that sees a squirrel when I hear one in town, and this is coming from a Supra guy.
@@Boostguru Still, it's not even close to the Mitsubishi 6G's and especially the Busso Alfa screamers. Even the NSX and Honda J series sound great with custom exhausts. The R35 has an unique sound, but it's not impressive at all.
@@PBRatLordwrong, don’t spread wrong information… WHP is wheel hp which can only be attained from a rolling dyno. BHP does not account for power losses through the drivetrain. “BHP measures strength of the engine by itself but WHP counts the final force to 4 wheel of a car”. BHP figures will be higher than whp by 15-25%. This gtr is around 700-750bhp.
The owner seems a decent guy. A very fast car with the hard suspension setting on and a empty track and Misha at the wheel would do a really good lap time. A great car!
Watched almost every minute of #503 onboard racing and quali. Congrats for P4, nice achievement. Thank you, that was amazing. Wish you best of luck in your race career Misha, Steve, Jimmy
This one clearly looks faster and stronger than 1000hp one. Too bad for all the yellows. Awesome car , awesome owner and awesome driving Misha! Keep up the good work
Very cool video!! The power and handling of the car, looks very impressive! I love How humble and nice the owner seems to be 👌 he seems like a really nice guy!
@kofib3 Definitely the best approach. The GT-R is sooo much more than a straight line speed/drag car. Nissan chose the Nürburgring to help develop/test it for a reason 👍🏾 it's definitely a good platform for a nice capable track build
Wow, this car is really impressive. And what a nice owner :) This may be one of the best sounding V6 engines in a 'normal' car, it just sounds like half a V12 which it technically is...
Why is everyone so surprised about the speed of a GTR ? The car has been out since 2008, it is very well documented how crazy fast it can become with the right mods, and it keeps evolving, because the Japanese tuner scene keep developing new parts for it.
I liked watching this, the car sings in the right hands, most sensible owners with nowhere near the experience or confidence aren't able to see what their car can do, happy for this guy
I guess he was pretty grateful for the yellow flags. He just couldn't have kept holding breath for so long without them :D Btw. Misha it is great sport, that you switch to the passenger cam, whenever you pass a wrecked car! Keeping private things private.
To bad so many yellows ,another fantastic car guy ,nice he brought you a beautiful car to drive ,look like you both had fun on that ride ,I hope he comes back with stiffer suspension and less traffic lol ,great jobs guys
By far one of the most capable motors on veryy rigid chassis with the correct suspension and permissible traffic itll truly spread its wimgs with spacw to open up.
Man thats one fun car to drive with fully customizable suspension man 4:19 I could hit this stretch going 180mph in a 900hp GT-R 17' 4WD it's on my channel check it out. On the next stretch I was going so fast I come off the ground on that hill. 14:31 ahhhh I gotta make the suspension harder thats why it bounce left and right at high speed. 👌 so glad I found your channel I'm taking so much of this information in and applying it to my cars.
I would love to see this car with sorted suspension and a clear track, you can see from the parts of the lap where you could send it, that this car is dialed.
Yes! Exactly what I was waiting for! This GTR is pretty much the same build as mine bar the suspension and it looked great and fast! Excellent driving, shame for the yellows 😢
Proper way to build a gtr, reliable, good power delivery and good mods for the track focusing more on reliability rather than just unusable power. The only thing i would change are the suspensions for something better... BC is ok for medium to low end cars but this deserves something more like ohlins, nitrons, etc
Like another comment said, that "840awhp GT-R" is living in most of our head rent free. 😅😂 But damn, this 608awhp GT-R is more than enough to tackle Nurburgring, and apart from suspension settings this thing is already perfect for Nur IMO, really well done! 👍
