He clearly wanted a 62 Bel Air, cuz he stripped it down to look like a Bel Air. I would'a kept the Impala tail lights and at least the Impala side emblem, but she's still a beauty!!

How can you do all this work and delete the coolest steering wheel in Impala history..

By removing the trim you lost some of the characteristics that only a '61 Impala has . But it's your car , you do whatever trips your trigger .
