Wow Rob that couples cafe boat is amazing if I can get my boat up there I think I would follow them everywhere what a bacon roll !! I with they also had a shopping boat on the canals brilliant for boaters 😄👍
Haha I love the idea of a shopping boat! We’ve done vlogs about other traders - The Hippie Boat, The Art Boat and The Wool Boat. We love doing those kind of mini reviews - helps everyone, I reckon. That was the best bacon brioche ever, though my own preference at home is greasy hot bacon 🥓 between dry white sliced bread! 🍞
Some beautiful countryside scenery going on in that vlog , that Victoria sponge looked amazing and last week I nearly bought a narrowboat called liberty but decided to buy a boat called serenity so going through the purchasing process now which means you won't have to change the name of your boat 😂😂😂 and one of my dogs is a Romanian rescue they are soooo loyal and extremely loving and affectionate

Both Jacqui and Lisa are good sports, gifted cooks, hard workers, fun hosts and thoroughly deserve to do well! Since we stopped taking Tilly 🐕 through locks she’s been much happier, for sure 😘 💕 ❤️
Yes, very much so. It makes a nice change from all the ‘chain’ coffee shops and it’s a hit with baby showers and hen parties - especially with the cocktails they offer! The food is easily good enough to please male customers, pink and fluffy or not! Haha 😛 🥰

I used to wear a TX A&M t-shirt to annoy the local TCU (Horned Frogs) mob where we were based. I did get caught out at ORD airport :-( Elderly gent asked me how life was in College Station! Had to "fess up"! Liverpool Poly don't really do shirts?? I had the huge privilege to see Senator George Mitchell speak at TCU. Instrumental in the Irish peace agreement. Amazing guy. Sadly missed.

I would love both of those cafes. Thanks for sharing (although I'm jealous). Where I live a "brew" means a beer ("lets go for a brew") so I was momentarily confused when it turned out to be coffee. Is brew for tea also?
Hi Susan, yes it usually means a cup of tea here, our slang for beers is ‘bevvies’ or just ‘pints’. I wouldn’t normally associate “having a brew” with coffee, even though, of course, fresh coffee is brewed. 💕
I guess I thought of coffee because I think of coffee being brewed and tea being steeped. Back in the day having a beer usually meant getting a cold can out of the frig at home. Now there are LOTS of microbrewies around and they are popular (loud music and loud talking). If you go for coffee (never "a coffee") means going to one of the many coffee shops (a counter and a few tables with usually a drive through window). If a friend says "lets go to tea" they mean a fancy afternoon tea with a 3 tiered cake stand. Otherwise for those of us who drink tea its usually a tea bag in a mug at home. It seems to be changing all the time though so I'll probably have trouble keeping up with the latest meanings! Cheers!@@NarrowboatLiberty
I’m with Carol I don’t care… That was the last thing she said Rob I do love you but half the time I don’t really know if you’re hiding it behind laughter and joking or if you’re really putting Carol down… Because you do it so much and I have to say, I do look forward to your videos, but it’s quite annoying for me. Because it’s constant! I don’t have a clue if anyone else has said this because I don’t read the comments and it’s only my second time of writing on here but I love Carol…She’s one of the sweetest ladies… And don’t tell me you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, because I am learning the ukulele and the mandolin… Samn from Oregon
Hi Samn, it’s just Rob’s sense of humour, which is very ‘British’ - I really do have a good laugh with him and never feel he’s being mean - that’s just not in his nature! Then there’s the fact that I do all the editing and I purposely leave in the banter, because I enjoy it - if I was upset by it, I’d edit it out! 😜 Truly, Rob supports me very much and strongly encourages me at every opportunity, but his quirky humour just comes out as we go along. We’ve been together 25 years and we still have a good laugh -and I give Rob as good back as he gives me! Please don’t worry and it’s really kind of you to say something. Hugs, Carol x
Thank you lovely ladies for responding… Even though I found out as I thought doing my DNA… I am half British, I get it truly do anyway. Today’s been a good day what we call church I call the congregation gathering… As we’re all the church right! Anyway, it was wonderful and then a friend called me to come and join her for community music at the university EOU which is in La grande Oregon… beautiful. It was joyous, and Beautiful God is good He truly is so I’m not here to put anyone down because all I wanna do is build everyone up. I’m just trying to say let’s do that a little more ❤️
Hi Samn, God is good ❤️ He’s in our marriage and I believe he must be forgiving, because my humour is definitely leaning towards ‘naughty’ rather than ‘nice’! That’s very much a British mannerism, though. I am aware (from when I lived and taught in the USA) that many Americans think we are being serious even when we’re joking!
