I used the MDL hydraulic clutch and linkage kit on my Falcon. It didnt directly bolt up because of previous modifications that I had done, but I managed to make it work. I'm very please with the outcome!
Thank you. I’ve taken a bit of a break. I get so much more done when I’m not trying to document it all. The falcon is running now. Should have a driving video on it soon.
Nice choice on that kit. I have the same master. I needed a ton of torque on those the plugs in the master on the passenger side. Mine were fine and then started to weep subtly after months of use. I noticed wetness on the bottom of the master as my pedal started get mushy. Don't suffer fools (me). Nice work on this mod.
This is great man! Got a kick out of the blue tape. I instantly asked myself, who's going to hold that for ya. ha! Looking awesome and I'll need to consider this for my '67 Stang I'm working on.
Installed the same kit on my 64... I had the problem of it running in the way of my proportioning valve. Gonna have to dissect your setup a little better and re think it... it was very frustrating for me ha
Very nice work & video. I'm working through a similar issue looking for space for my clutch master cylinder. I'm using a Gen 2 iBooster and electric power steering. Both take up precious room on the firewall.
Just saw this, Q. Are using a T-5 Trans, & if you did how much cutting of the floor boards. I am thinking of T-5 in a 63 Merc. Comet RAG TOP W/6 INLINE 200 C.I. THANK YOU FOR ANY INFO. LOU.M.
Yes I’m running a t5. I had to cut the factory crossmember brace (the one that follows up the tunnel) and open the floor a bit for the shifter to come through. But didn’t have to make the tunnel itself, any larger.
