It's been a year since we made the incredibly ambitious journey back to #PearlHarbor for the 80th anniversary with 63 #WWII veterans. It was more amazing than we could have ever imagined! The people of #Oahu still remember and celebrate these heroes so well. From a fantastic airport welcome, to block parties, to parades, these veterans were treated like rockstars! Thank you ‪@AmericanAirlines‬ ‪@sigsauerinc‬ ‪@BlackRifleCoffeeCompany‬ ‪@GarySiniseFoundation‬ ‪@BornPrimitiveApparel‬ ‪@VeteransUnited‬ and ‪@NinelineLineApparelinc‬ for helping us make this #BattlefieldReturn Program a memorable one for our veterans.

Thank you for this excellent video. My Uncle Paul quit high school at age 17 and joined the US Navy. He was sent to Pearl Harbor on December 7,1941! His ship was an ammunition ship. Thank GOD he wasn't on the ship when the bombing began . He was a very PROUD member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association/:Philadelphia chapter! Baby Boomer here! I was so fortunate to have been able to meet many of those wonderful men at the annual summer picnic , not far from Valley Forge, Pennsylvania!GO NAVY⚓️⛵️⚓️🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊⚓️

It saddens me to think about how these brave warriors made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our nation,and see what is happening now. Can we ever get that American pride back? I pray we do. God Bless these selfless Patriots 🇺🇸

If you ever meet a Vetetan from World War 2. Give them your full appreciation and respect. This generation went through the biggest War in history. May all who have passed away rest on peace and God Bless those who are still alive. Whether being American Veteran's or our past and present Allies. 🙏🙏🙏

Japan didint think that US would be so strong and did this unprovoken attack. These veterans really need all the help and respect. Thanks Donnie for sharing the story of you grandfather, hes whit the brothers now 🙏 I want to quote Dick Winters of Easy Company, “I Treasure a remark to my grandson who asked, "Grandpa were you a hero in the war?" Grandpa said, "No.... but I served in a company of heroes”

As a Merchant Mariner working on a United States flagged ship, I have had the honor meeting some WW ll and Korean veterans . I can tell you I had goosebumps just seeing them going past me. I'm offering ny highest respect to you guys even if I'm not an American, without you, we wouldn't live free. Thank you so much for your service, your dedication and your ultimate sacrifice.

I started watching this while on break at my job, big mistake, within the first 2 minutes I was bawling my eyes out! I'll have to watch it later, with Kleenex and beer, 🙏 the 1st few minutes were absolutely amazing, get ready for your heart to explode
