The North Coast Symphonic Band conducted by Terry Dahlgren performs 633 Squadron by Ron Goodwin, arr. Larry Daehn on February 4, 2024, at the Liberty Theatre in Astoria, Oregon.
Good music well played. The (fictional) exploits of 633 Sqdn fade into the background when compared to some of the raids actually carried out by Mosquitoes during WW2. For me the raid on Berlin as Goering was making a speech celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Nazis rise to power is a highlight.
