@@isaaclim8645 yeah I’m tired of this revolving door of these top 5 countries plus 5 more Latin American countries. It’s the same revolving door just slightly different placement every year and it’s boring. Just like the Olympics. But whereas sports are actually about athletic ability isn’t this supposed to be about individual girls, their personalities etc? You’re really telling me all the rest of the girls in the world cannot compete with that aside from the rigorous bs beauty pageant training ?

Man I miss this type of Miss Universe . More colorful, happier and bright. The stage reflected the host city/country and the hosts were in the mood yet remained classy. Definitely NBC's production was the best.

Yes also, the stage and decoration was creative every year. I hate the LED screen which IMG overused every year since 2015. Real decoration objects are more captivating.

Does Columbia, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil et al have to place every time in every universe/world pageant just bc they’re the biggest audience of viewership for these pageants? -Would love to see a pageant that’s not 1/3- 1/2 Latin and South American and have other parts of the world represented for a change. When you factor in Spain, Netherlands and America that’s half the top 15 Latino. Does that seem like a proper distribution of highlighting the world’s beauties? I don’t think so.. Makes these pageants increasingly boring rather than interesting to see a cool mix of beautiful women from around the world! I hope Jamaica wins this time she seems kind, classy, confident, interesting and intelligent.

Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil consistently place because they send good representatives to Miss Universe. And as a whole, a lot of Latinas place at Miss Universe because the region prepares their queens very well. If you have what the Miss Universe organization wants, you will place. Tough luck to the rest of the world who doesn’t prepare their queens well enough. Don’t sit here and be a baby about it. It’s exhausting seeing people so angry at Latinas just because they put in the work.

@@oscarm5368 well then that highlights the fact it’s a market for pageant criterion perfection rather than about the individual girls themselves. I’d rather support women and they’re ability to be seen and heard for who they are on a global stage rather than their ability to perfectly tick all the pageants judges boxes based on how rigorously they went through beauty pageant training back home!

Miss World has more diverse countries placing on top. Jamaica is the reigning Miss World since 2019 and March 17 will be the next edition after the postponed events caused by the pandemic

Strong Top 15 as usual. The only odd one out here in Indonesia. Their placement in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020 is questionable. There are other girls who are more deserving than Indonesia tbh.
