Walked into to a store very firmly set on the Monarch MK3 (not blind, i've tried them before and they are brilliant). Not long before I decided to pull the trigger, the store employee went, "before you buy, try these." He hands me the U4s. As I went through my test tracks, I had feeling of 'damn, is this really happening?' because I was slowly realizing that I liked the U4s more. Initially, I was in denial. At that point, I was already very biased towards the MK3s because of personal experience and also because of all the highly positive reviews you can find out there to confirm what I felt. But as I tested the U4s with more and more songs I could not deny any further. Of course at the end of the day, this is all down to preference. The MK3 is an amazing pair and I'm sure there are some if not many of you out there who would choose the MK3 over the U4s. I thought I was one of them, but to my own surprise even, I walked out with the U4s. I really did not expect to make that move. What kind of wizardry and witchcraft goes on in your R&D department? Needless to say I am extremely pleased with them.

This is a very nice and well articulated review/unboxing. I can really get a sense of enjoyment listening to them. I also like that you talked about volume level. Certainly important. 😊
sooo we ever gonna see a new version of a u2 u3 u8 and u10 in the next couple years? to this day i rock my u8 but if you guys would make a N8U it be nice
@@64Audio I am aware of that, I just don't think that's cool. I got another Module from FIR Audio now which is essentially the same and half the price.
All of our Universal products currently ship with each available apex module (m20, m15, mX) and that will likely be the case for the m12 module as well.
