First weekend back at the track after a complete brake failure and wreck last year. This car was my then daily driver that I built this off-season to replace the wrecked car. Pictures of the wrecked car and build progress can be seen on my Instagram @qspeed_racing.
The weekend got off to a slow start with me driving very timid, especially when it came to braking (as can be expected after a brake failure). These two laps were my best of the weekend during my second (and final) session on Sunday where I was finally feeling like I was getting up to speed a little bit. Still a ton of time in the car (and driver!) for sure. This was an HPDE-4/Instructor session.
The eventual plan is to pick back up to build a ST3/TT3 car and also maybe dabble with a GLTC build. We'll see where the build goes, but for now this is just the beginning and very much a first revision of many.
