Listen, I love the design of the 6430 but an 8240 is unknown grounds, it is all dependent on how much of a backing you have and how many hours that tractor has on it. I have never personally worked with an 8240
Between a Ford 8240 and a john deer 6430 which one would you recommend me buying?? The Ford 8250 has 8500 hours on it and the john dear 6430 has about 5000 hours on it. The owner keep saying that the tractor is running great and it has no major problems, but due to the video you shared am alittle bit scared to go for a john deer as we dont have qualified mechanicals to repair it Your advice please.
Do you have the information on where I could get those fuel lines? I can't seem to find one that would fit we tried quarter inch and it just wouldn't work
I know I’m late to the conversation. If you need to replace your fuel hoses on a John Deere, we use Gates Lola oil hose just get the size. 5/16” or 3/8” replace one section at a time to avoid confusion
In the UK John Deere updated the fuel lines to rubber ones problem solved, changed ours never had a issue since, The spool issue is a simple seal kit, think you need to get off your keyboard warrior mode and speak to your dealer. Also the cab doesn't come off it tilts 🐓🍭
I have this model and the dang Right side Remote or SCV keeps kicking the hose out. Rebuilt the seals and checked everything I can think of and it keeps doing it. Moved the hoses to the left side and all the hydraulics works great, just noting on the right side. Have you seen this issue?
Yes actually I have! These tractors tend to be notorious for random leaks, I've noticed intense pressure on the right side in the past. John Deere said it had something to do with the regulator on the back but offered no assistance. I plan on updating this ASAP once I have the channel flowing again. I'll make sure to get this looked at!
Cheap Chinese braided line. Good tractor but that they use such cheap fuel lines is a major frustration. Wheel speed sensor is also located under the cab. really bad design.
