@@normanboyes4983 Normally stratification is desirable, cold/cooler water enters the cylinder via diffuser on the very bottom to prevent jet of inlet water making turbulances and mixing/destritifing. Lower temperature fuids are more capable to capture the heat from the hot cold than warm water, you generally have wider delta T in between mediums.

I have just fitted cylinder sensor to each boiler from the cylinder. Eastman wiring and controls are very straightforward
