I was hoping/ expecting we’d get a Ralf entry at the 11th hour! This is one of my favourites off the first one. I was half wishing someone, anyone would do the instrumental, Wild Sewerage Tickles Brazil which follows this on the album, but no, it never happened. This is a really striking lyric from Chris Difford, I’m not entirely sure what he’s getting at, but I don’t think you have to understand every song lyric to get a connection with it. Thanks for bringing this one Ralf, fingers crossed you’ll discover more Squeeze on the back of this one 👍
