WOW!! 🤩 So amazing to watch the green appear! Really reminds me of sea turtle shells! Another great example of how slowly blends colors and that the results can be so unexpected!! Funny you mentioned blowing longer with the dryer versus stopping and mouth blowing....Itesnd to talk out loud when I watch you and I "narrated that" change too!😆
Stunning painting! It looks like it’s glowing. I like your students, too. Looks like she had some red in there. Hers reminds me of the aurora borealis. I’d love to come to your retreat in WA, it’s in my state, but unfortunately it’s too expensive for me at this point. Hopefully you’ll come back to Seattle for classes sometime. I can come for a day again if it’s in Seattle! Or maybe a suburb. Bellevue is easier to get to and a much safer city. I vote for Bellevue, WA for a future Pour Con. To anyone thinking of taking classes, it’s so worth it! You learn a lot on these RU-vid videos but I was surprised how much more I learned at the in-person classes. I can actually get my blow outs to look similar to Kanella’s now. And I’m a resin using fiend now, when I used to be afraid of it!

Kanella,it’s really pretty. I’ve never been a fan of the mouth blowing. It makes the petals have too much of a rounded edge, not matching the other edges. Although always beautiful, the edges of the petals have a much cleaner sharper edge with the blow dryer. (My opinion only) Glad you’re back home and safe!
Very pretty! Dioxazine purple and Prussian blue are my two favorite colors and I use them as a base color a lot. My first strip of color would be white and that picks up the blue or purple and they both blend so nicely. And then the background dries almost black.
This is giving the weather collection from Kylie cosmetics…. I had to dig through my makeup to see if I still had that collection from like 2018 and I had one of the palettes still …. And you just gotta look up what this looks like eye of the storm palette…. This is exactly what this painting is giving!! ⚡️⚡️
