I wonder of any one considered snowfall when designinging with a flat/inverted roof system? hopefully there is some sort of melting/drain system in place.
In Vancouver, it rarely snows.. and if it does snow, it never stays for long. Warm air from the ocean, at sea level... it basically rains for 6 months straight in Vancouver.
wow...now this house is freaken amazing. It's not humangously big, very modern. Only thing i would have added was in the fountain area on the 2nd floor, have a jacuzzi so you can sit in there and enjoy the view of the city. Weird location though. The rest of the houses in the area look like normal houses and then there's this modern house in the middle of them.
Exactly what the Chineese are doing aka buying crappy run down properties in less expensive neighbourhoods and expensive ones too. Knocking down the house to make way for this Gordy monstrosity. It's happening all over Vancouver unfortunately where the majority of people live and can't afford a house like this. Or for the new neighbors to be raising their house prices to ridiculous levels. It's cheaper to buy a house in California now lol.
This is to "encourage the others", selling the life style as well as the property, "gentrifying" the area to create a rich person's "paradise". Young lady there for a reason...….

I don't know why, but luxury detached houses or villas look much more stylish from interior and outdoor design point and the views are much more beautiful in California, Florida even in Los Angeles than in Canada. Unfortunately, luxury houses in Canada are a serious level lower than in US.
small lot not too much room for more then 3 vehicles and no room for kids to play. This house is not a home it's a show-off for ppl. but not even that because the woodwork is so cheep. MDF baseboards and casings around the doors. Plastic windows. Cheep builder. I wouldn't pay half of this what they are asking.

I did all the granite and marble in this house it was crazy the window cills are done with Carrera marble 2 cm the through and through fire place on the middle floor was granite all the stairs were done in marble aswell ans the bar has LED lights inside that light up the onyx honey granite in the bsmt this house was intense the island had to b craned up to the deck because it was to heavy to lift. This house was on the market for 10.8 million
