we use 2 to 1 gear ratio, and yes we're planning on using pneumatics

@@madisoglrobotics I am guessing PTO. Also our drivetrain is 3:2 but it struggles to turn, how does your 2:1 gear ratio have enough torque for that? Our drive has low friction, and our robots not even that heavy.

@@anonymou-mj4jc ours is 2:1 and our 3:2 doesn’t work. However, try metal shafts they make a use difference

@@madisoglrobotics we use metal shafts. Maybe it is a motor problem, because I am not sure our robot is that heavy

normal rubber band wall works best for us but I don't recommend it

good question i personally think its suspension cuz my team used that in nationals and it worked out quite well actually
