Requested by Lukas Poplin Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for! Presenting Hanna-Barbera Logo History (1966-present)! Like what you see? Post your thoughts in the comments below and subscribe for more videos!
I grew up with Hanna Barbera shows like The Powerpuff Girls, Flintstones, and Scooby Doo, Where are you?( Honestly, my personal favorite was the Powerpuff Girls. It was the first Hanna Barbera cartoon I ever watched. I watched it with my sister, who was a huge Powerpuff fan.)
8:35 NOTES ON THE 1998 Shooting Star logo: The Only Show that I can for sure confirm that this logo was seen was on pre 2002 episodes of The Powerpuff Girls. I always wondered how they got away with using the Shooting Star logo, instead of the Character board logo?
At least they didn't do the Hanna-Barbera logo like the Filmation logo. Can you imagine a bright light going straight across showing the Hanna-Barbera logo in a Anklepants font. Now THAT would be something!!!
Also back in the 66-76 era, they weren't part of Warner Brothers yet. Not til the merger between them (by then Turner was their parent company) and WB was when Hanna Barbera became a part of Time Warner.
0:54 and 1:06 are my favorite logos you can see them on the original Scooby-Doo seasons 1-2. The first season has the blue text while the second season has the orange text.

you just can't have great Saturday morning without that hb logo, whether it's a hit or a dud, hammer Barbera never lost their gold I thanked thank them for making me a cartoonist and illustrator as I am today. I also thanked Morrie Turner for we pals aka kid power.
I like the 2017 Hanna-Barbera logo for the classic animated series like The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, etc. when it will restore and remastered in the future.
0:48; 1:03 Orale !!! A history that Warner Bros were already working with Hanna Barbera and eventually Time Warner was left with the best of filmography of HB
Why does one of those logos have the WGBH jingle playing under it? Also, the combination of still image with a flood of sound effects infuriates me on an aesthetic level.
@@grandmasteryoda5983 yeah, the fake ones with the warner bros one with the vhs effect comes from a slivagunner-clone that does logos instand of video game music
I heard well I also heard the music from both spongebob and rocko jus look up spongebob music domestic fun I swear it sounds like it should of been used for one hundred and one Dalmatians yeah they actually spell the movie that way 🤔😥
The swirling star one gave me nightmares all the way from the time I was born back in December 2008 until I was getting used to it back when I was around 7 years old back in late November 2015. And now as a 9.5 year old 4th grade student in August 2018, it’s ANNOYING ME! UUUUGH!
The second logo is 1974-1979 NOT 1976-1979, please correct this as your bad mistake is very misleading and is having an innacurate influence on other people's comments. Also, it is inaccurate and misleading to include mock logos in a logo history video as it does not represent Hanna Barbera in its true to accurate form. Please in future check your facts before uploading.
