Hello my dear! Lovely to see you again my friend. (It's a Moody Blues Thing, lol) Glad you had a well deserved holiday. The first one did look like a weather map, kind of like the front on snow and rain hovering over me her in Michigan the past few days! Love the cells in the 2nd one. These paints seem to be probably the most affordable I've seen so far! Just keeping positive over here, well as much as possible any way!😉😉

Nice surprise to see your video today. Agree with you on these paint colours. I saw a penguin in the first one or a similar bird's head and beak, I've been watching the penguins at our local zoo via webcam so can see penguin shapes everywhere lol. Will try to catch your live, if not, will watch it afterwards. Thank you!

In Scotland, we've been given health advice to walk like a penguin when it is icy to avoid falls and broken bones and ease the pressure on hospitals. There is even a meme from the National Health Service demonstrating how to walk like a penguin. It certainly makes me smile (if not giggle) to imagine myself as a penguin while trying not to slip on the ice. It is fascinating to watch them on the webcam especially at feeding time.

I was so pleased to see premixed paints in the warehouse and bought a heap of them. They now take up space I don't have lol, as I really didn't like them when I used them. I didn't think the colors were very vibrant when dry and the paint seemed thinner than say Reeves or monte mart, and they seemed to blend more than other paints. I am so glad you had a lovely break.

@@McEArt I am one of those shocking people who never keep receipts lol - I will find a use for it somewhere :) The Dutch Pour idea mentioned below could be a good idea, especially if resin will bring the colors back to life after it dries, so I might try that - everything is possible :)

You earn all my envy, summer instead of snow and ice. FFP2 masks in shops and public transport. Curfew from 9 p.m.to 5 a.m. No schools. And all that at least till mid-February.

Totally agree, mixing your own colors is a lot better. These look too muddy to me.

Different tones of colors can make the muddy and paint consistency creates more mixing than possible.

For some strange reason I am only just now watching this one, how i missed it for a month is beyond me. Its so disappointing when the pre-mixed paints go muddy just from simply putting them in the container and pouring them out. The first painting i see a leaf floating on a stream among many different layers of rocks. The silicone helped keep some of the colour vibrancy but the yellow did mostly vanish once it was dry. I makes me wonder what the paint companies think when they put packs together and make their pre-mixes. Do they not test the colours together and try to avoid that dull mud hue or smokey look to the end result of their paints. Enquiring minds are interested to know if these are bought more than once by artists Saying all that, Michelle I don't want you to think that I think you paintings are horrible, they just don't have the vibrancy that your usual paintings have. Its so unusual to see a smokey picture from you You know I always love watching your processes and thank you for the time you spend sharing your love of painting with us all

I agree! Maybe they should send out for testing to real artists a bit like indie pattern companies send out to test sewists ;) Definitely still choosing my own mix!

@@McEArt yes that would seem the sensible thing for the paint companies. I have often test knitted patterns for designers to double check the patterns are correctly written and also work out in the different sizes This is the work that goes into producing good products for people to use. Yes your own mix works so much better on every level

I see a Yellow lizard dancing on the left and in the red under him a snake , in the brownish area a fish. Once it dried the first impressions disappeared 👻.
