Great video about the rally in Sedalia. We’ve been home for a couple weeks now and it was nice to watch your video and reminisce about the good times we had at the international rally. It was so nice to have a chance to shake your hand and meet you. Keep up the good work.
I’m a female and I love the jacket! Thank you, Blair, for modeling it. 😊 Being the youngest of three, I’m all too familiar with hand-me-downs. We hate that we couldn’t make the rally; we still haven’t been to one since we are new to the Airstream family. Alumalina would’ve been our first ever but we all know what happened to the beautiful Western part of our state. 😢 Ocean Lakes is gonna be our 1st AS rally from our regional club. We will definitely be at the 2025 rally in York though. Thank you as well for sharing the rally footage so we could live vicariously through you all. Now we know what to expect next year. Better bring LOTS of money. 😂 Safe travels y’all and we hope to see you guys down the road.
It's so sad about Alumalina! We wanted to attend but Bliar ran the Marine Corps Marathon today and we couldnt be at both places. I hope they can find a place for it next year because we def want to attend.
@@ThirteenAdventures Oh wow, how’d she do? The Marine Corps Marathon is my hubby’s biggest bucket list item but we are both getting up there in age. I think we are gonna settle for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge 10K in 2025. Btw, we enjoyed your interview with Chris and Gina of The Rivered podcast. We hope to meet y’all someday so you can show us the ropes since we are new to the AS family.
I'm commenting not to be entered in the giveaway, but to say how much I enjoyed this video. I hope to own an Airstream someday and would have loved attending the rally. As a woman who would mostly be towing alone, the education and resources provided at these rallies would be so valuable!!! Thanks so much for the insight!
Great video. We hope to attend an International Rally in the near future. On the bucket list for sure. I would love the jacket btw if someone has not already gotten it.
Great video summary of the rally! Not needing the jacket but I’d like to start the buy one/get rid of one strategy at my home as well! Ha. Looking forward to your video about Weigh-Safe. Braxton is a great resource.
First, thank you very much for all you do and sharing your knowledge of Airstream. Just finished watching your video on the rally and caught my attention when you mention notice three bolts or similar missing in one hour of inspection. I am not sure exactly what you were addressing but it sounded very important. Can you please clarify if your were referring to the bolts on the Dexter axles or the suspension portion. Thank you sir.
Hello! Thanks for watching. Please see this video and about min 12:10 I address this specific issue: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XPXjLfSNc2Q.html
I spoke with Dexter axle about the shocks and the nuts that hold them on. They recommend the use of a Stove nut on the shocks. They also said Airstream is the only Company that uses shocks on a torsion axle that they make. The torsion system is the suspension not the shock.
Correct. Im an ambassador for Dexter and have had many discussions about this. The shock helps to dampen these rough roads though. Ive noticed that no other manufacturer uses this system.
I don’t want the jacket, mainly because we follow the same rule-no new hangers. However, I noticed a Rivian in the background, and it would be great if you could interview someone who owns one. We live in Florida, but when we were out west (you might enjoy the High Lonesome 100, by the way), we saw many Airstreams being towed by Rivians. Owners would charge their vehicles at campsites and travel around the country, taking advantage of free charging.
Nice jacket but it probably wouldn't look as good on me as it does on the stylin' model. There's only one way to know hahahaha. Making our first visit to our local dealer (Can-Am London) in a few days. Got a bad case of 27FBQ on da noggin.
We did not. We were so busy with over 300 people that came to our trailer and the classes Brad taught and other activities, we didnt even go to town once we were parked.
@@ThirteenAdventures 😃yes I did a bike by twice and you were pretty busy the museum was just on the other side of the fence thanks Craig b Ann ardor Michigan
