Looks awesome, love the color!! Same color Austin was planning on…..orange is his little boys favorite color. What did you find with the hood alignment?
How did it work out with no paint booth and ventilation? Did you end up with a lot of dust and bugs in the paint? Did your neighbours complain about the odours and overspray? I want to paint a car eventually so I am wondering what is needed. Also, what size of compressor did you use and was it adequate? Are you using a fancy paint gun or a cheap one? How did you learn to paint? Thanks.
Worked out well. I have some artifacts in the paint. Settled in the flat surfaces. A Wes and cut and buff will get rid of that. Neighbours are good even came to see it and talk with me. My compressor is 26 gallon and 7 hp. Plenty to do the job. And the paint gun I used at first was cheap. Got a real good one to repay the car after from a buddy. His guns are $1000 or so compared to my $200 one. What a difference.
@@provibegarageOh I didn’t get to the episode about repainting yet, I see it now. Sorry that it didn’t work out the first time. I will check out the next episodes.
My first paint spray was a crappy gun. Then I used a good one I borrow from a friend. Not sure what it was. As for overspray I did drape things over some of my stuff but I 3D printed or built most of the stuff I have so a simple sand and repaint of anything isn’t an issue. By the time it hits my collectibles it’s dust and easily wiped off
@@HPTBANDIT I used a gallon of base it with a gallon of reducer for it. Still a third of that left over. And a gallon of clear with its activator. With some left over.
