These SPAs have a safety system that detects proper grounding. In some houses, even if the electrical system is up to code with proper grounding, the system "isn't enough," and it's necessary to connect an additional grounding located under the pump.
This way, you can be 100% sure that in the event of a power loss, it will be discharged into the ground rather than into the water of the spa.
IMPORTANT: This DIY grounding method can help you verify that the pump is not defective (the error is the same). However, once tested, it is important to call an electrician to perform a proper and safe grounding!!
