I'd have been a happy volunteer to help Chris! (Then I have to remember who I _can't_ show the photos to. I made the mistake of sending a friend a picture of the tree frog that sometimes visits me. She said she nearly threw her 'phone away!)

Gorgeous snake, in the UK it's such a rarity to see one. I really wish we had more there amazing creatures. She's angry he says, as the bloody snake is running away XD

Was cycling down the canal towpath near Rotherham recently and saw the inner tube of a bike on the path ahead. I thought, ‘what a shame people leaving litter about like that’. Then the inner tube started slithering towards the grass 😂 pretty sure it was a grass-snake

I thank Chris and handle any unforeseen problems. He removed the phantom and Rehomed it without hurting it. A great and pleasant outcome for her.

Great vet. Took the time needed to rescue the snake carefully and let the kids see. Rehomed Charlotte to a more appropriate residence where she can hunt and protect herself without causing a problem

I had a side business rescuing rattle snakes, back when I lived in desert country. Not quite that big though. But close, biggest I ever caught was about 5 feet. 😁👍 Wow that is one beautiful snake.

I can fully understand Nicola the mother and house owner's unease at having a large snake on her premises. But at the same time she doesn't really want to harm the snake in any way so she's taken the best course of action by phoning Chris. The mother-in-law over from the UK was very brave to have volunteered to hold the bag for Chris. Real nice family.

Great clip but one question and one (small) criticism. Question: why was Chris given the job of catching the snake and not Tim? Criticism: I prefer imperial measurements to metric but please - get them right. I think Charlotte is nearer 9 ft long than 6.
