Hi Ethan, owner of the car here... we had actually planned on doing a review months ago (well before there was even thought of selling the vehicle). However, things happen and people get busy. I would hope that this doesn't feel like a salesman video, although I certainly don't feel that way. Wanted to be able to get something up with the car, given that Eddie had previously owned a B8.5 and was familiar with the platform. Dual pulley 6MT cars are not exactly plentiful or available for reviews.

It’s a great car and the video is still good. It’s just that when Eddie does a video on cars that are for sale, he tends to really push the positives and doesn’t seem to give a balanced review. I’m not faulting you or even Eddie for it, I understand that he might get less cars to shoot videos with if he’s being brutally honest. But as a consumer, I wish I could get to hear both sides of the story.

Lifeof Joven I cross shopped the Audi with the q50 and the 435i gran gran coupe ended up with the Audi and couldn’t be happier the q50 felt too cheap and the bmw just felt less refined

The S-Tronic is way better in the B8.5 S4, manuals are fun but the the Auto is just meant to be for the S4.

Hey, Robbie. Owner of the car here. My knowledge is that the DSG was developed with the 3.0T, and that the 6MT was essentially developed on the side. While it may not have been created systematically with the 3.0T, many of us 6MT owners will vouch that the manual transmission does not feel amiss with the 3.0T. Having the manual transmission with the supercharger is something very few platforms offer!

The hp was underrated at 333hp, but the clutch was really only built for 333hp. Just an intake and exhaust and you have too much power for the stock clutch in a 6MT, especially from a launch with how grippy the quattro is. The DSG handles the power adders a tad better, but for me personally I would've never bought the DSG in this car. I bought the manual, upgraded the clutch, and lived at around 405 problem free crank hp to 130k miles before I sold mine...to a new owner who immediately went dual pulley.

jason tutti that s5 has more horsepower than this s4. The rs7 would probably still win.

RcyberGaming how do you know this is 440whp so about 500 fly on wat dyno was it measured , for example a mustang dyno reads less than a dynojet so you can never be exactly sure

Karel Fannes my bad I meant we have a manual (me and car in video) It’s difficult to move the shifter into 2nd gear when rpm’s are higher.

Personally I would recommend the f30 335i because it feels more modern and I like the interior over the audi s4.

Hey there! Owner of the vehicle here. Coming from an N54 E92 335i and PWG N55 E82 135i, I hope I can add some perspective here. The PWG N55 with stock turbo would certainly not keep up with this, and they usual top around 380whp. However an EWG N55 (2014+ I believe) usually tap into the low 400whp range when modified. With that out of the way, I believe that the F30 interior truly shines compared to the B8/B8.5 interiors, whereas Audi really only updated the steering wheel, shift knob, and MMI for the B8.5s. However, the exterior looks between the B8.5 and F30 you will have to decide for yourself. Only issues related to the 3.0T include the thermostat/PCV/waterpump on earlier models. As well as the mechatronics unit in the DSG vehicles from 2010-2013. Something to keep in mind if you're looking at a DSG by comparison. However, I would encourage you to look at both Audizine and Bimmerpost forums to get more buyer information!

I would say average mileage for a B8 is around 80-100k, with 60-80k being the bench for "lower milage", and 60k and less being "low milage". You have to remember that these vehicles certainly are driver's cars, so mileage is relative depending on the area as well. I'm sure with the B8s you could take the same figures and subtrack ~20k per each, although you should expect to be paying an inflated premium for B8.5s. Joshua Lothringer I wanna get an s4 but I don’t want a high mileage one I bought an a4 last year with 92k miles the point of buying a different car now is lower miles but all the s4s I see are like 70-100k miles in affordable price but the newer ones with 30k miles are like 40k😔 I was thinking s3 but idk if I want another 4 banger I’m 18 so I gotta afford ehat I can

Joshua Lothringer I know its fast,not denying that,I have a stage 2 dp 6mt s5 on 93 octane w ecs resonated valved exhaust and same ecs intake, and I'm telling you,you're not even close to that number,I wish it was that high, but to see those numbers you're gunna need an ultracharger and tune, fuel pump, and be running e40 fuel, and ported blower, even then,may be still a little under 440 whp

I seen somewhere that you stated you are guestamating that number and you havnt dyno the car yet,so how can you be so sure?

However I understand that the looks may not be for everyone, but in my opinion it surely beats the high kick spoilers and eBay carbon diffusers that you see plaguing instagram and facebook groups.
