i removed my valve body and there is two a little short screw, can you advise where it was located when tightening the and installing the valve body again?
@@P1ayCrackThe5ky thank you for the info, i finish repairing my TCM and valve body, i also put davies craig transmission oil cooler with automatic fan with 180°f- 165°f thermo switching, now its more cooler.
Thanks this is VERY informative. I have a 2014 Buick Verano 2.0 Turbo. When in D 1st gear seems to pop out at 3mph until 9mph (provided I have enough momentum or downhill run) when the trans seems to go in 2nd. If I put the trans in M it shifts fine all day. In fact I can take of in M1 bump it over to D at 9mph and it works fine until it needs 1st@3-8mph. Reverse works fine even up to 20mph. I suspect this I'd the low/rev clutch disengaging and 1st is either done, or burned up. I have changed the TECHM and the valve body same result. When in M does the low/rev clutch stay engaged the entire time in 1st and always in Rev?
2016 Chevy Trax awd 6t40. P0796 stuck in 3rd , but drives now. Replaced solenoids and still same code. Is this the valve body? Before replacing it would try to go to 4th and just hang and couldn't really go over 25 mph. Fluid had no metal and new fluid in it. Thank you for the video!
Hello, I’m having issues with the automatic transmission on my 2016 Opel Astra. During acceleration, the transmission slips a bit, and the diagnostic tool shows error code P0741. I would like to replace the Control Module with Solenoids in the transmission, but before ordering the parts, I want to be sure whether my transmission is GEN1 or GEN2 so I can order the correct parts. The information on the transmission plate is as follows: 6T45 6NLW 616NLWR6053A3432 Thank you in advance for your response. Best regards, Aldo
Can i turn the car off before checking the fluid plug? It feels unsafe to have it on jackstands in park and running. I do have a scan tool that shows fluid temperature.
supercheap NZ recommended Pentrite LV for this transmission, once added the transmission worked for around 2 weeks then stopped. GM states that it is a internal fault. with no fluid flowing out of the cooler pipe which in idle. now nothing no gears both drive or reverse. no weird sounds or knocks.. thoughts?
I fix cars, but I am working on a 6T40 in neutral, engine off, I roll the chevy forward just 12 inches, I can hear a clicking sound, it's not the inner cv joint, I have just replaced the new cv joints, could you please let me know, thanks for the video, awesome detail.
