Great compilation. Closing pics are 9 Ave El removal looking from Greenwich St. across Christopher - Not 6 Ave El. More compelling than views of the 3rd and 2nd Ave, Els long straightways (except for some of at South Ferry and Cooper Sq of 3 Ave El.). We see enough of what remains and what landmarks are recognizable but torn down, from the past, from Lower Manhattan, Tribeca. West Village, 6 Ave-Ladies Mile shopping, Midtown West!
You did a good job on this 6th Ave El Book. We are constantly updating our One Drive site, from which most of the photos were presented. You missed the early Gilbert / Metropolitan El History and the split of the 6th and 9th Ave El at Battery Pl and up to Morris St, which was the original end of the Metro El. The Express package spur was also there. Excellent photographic slideshow and solid research. The grammar in the captions is atrocious and so is the spelling. I recommend revising for the sake of the hours put into this excellent project.
