Sooo has anyone else noticed the timing of when we would get this and when Jett gets removed? I guess we know what the final nail in the coffin was, they didn't wanna make a 6th job for Jett
@@colorblindracist6739 more than that easily 5 seconds the showcase is about 8 minutes 480 seconds and 47 classes are showcased 480/47 = 10.21ish let's remove 4 seconds because all the classes do some auto attacks before and after the ultimate skill itself so 6 seconds of animation
@Minh Lê @Minh Lê By main attacking move, I mean the main mobbing/boss move that is utilized by classes, typically with no cooldown. Some classes, like cadena have a variety of attacking moves they can use, but they still have a main move which is spammable. (Chain arts:Thrash) Flame sweep for FP, Showdown for NL, Cruel stab for shadower,peircing arrow for marksman, mana burst for evan are some examples For example, FP shows Flame sweep to have a new animation The new skill animations are either temporary states granted by a 6h job "Skill Core" that modifies these attacking moves, similar to Mihile sword of light. These would be tied to buffs and not be 100% uptime. Or they are permanent nodes, which will permanently upgrade your main attacking moves in order to boost its damage, effect and modify its animation.these would have 100% uptime if you look here on orange mushroomorangemushroom.net/2023/06/10/maplestory-new-age-showcase/ it says that each class has a "Mastery Core". Mastery core: Sniper IV, Flame sweep VI, Angel ray VI, Chain arts:thrash IV. Reading this, its likely the second implementation, with the "Mastery Core" being a permanent node that can be obtained and applied using the hexa system These will likely modify your main attacking moves permanently, updating the animation, effects, and damage. I dont think these are standard updates to the 4th job animation and will only be obtained by reaching 6th job and obtaining this "Mastery Core"
For what it has been leaked the new hexa matrix is divided in 3 categories "Origin cores" The ultimate skill "Pre 5th job enhancers" Seems for the showcase it's like a TSC from shade periodically getting a stronger trigger "5th job boost" 5th job skills boost nodes
6th job has 3 components: ~ New skills ~ 1-4 job skills that are enhanced into new skills, they completely replace the old skill entirely ~ 5th job buffed up skills which they never showcased how this works ~ And more common skills as a 4th feature that are shared among all classes
The animations are cool, but tbh idk how I feel about dealing with giant cutscene attacks while I'm playing. And how the hell is this going to work with parties?
I really expected the 6th job for demon slaver cuz all the 5th job skills were so cool with high quality and also the concept if this character is so enough to make more super nice 6th job skill however, they just have done something looks so stupid and cannot find anything related to demon slayer i might change the job to adel or something when they dont fix this
I mean the background went full castlevania, that eas enough for me but then the giant axe was great, the background from Hilla's altar didnt make him justice.
im not against MS at all, but that too much animation for a game where you play with all transparent most of the time... they need to fix that first, or bring back MS2 plz D:
Or have proper mechanics where it just hurts really badly and not just insta kill or drop to 1 HP and just boss spam atks like nobodies business from start till end
