I used to respect this chap when he was at metro initially but he went political and rogue and became immensely unpopular with Ghanaians because of his antics. He became a mouthpiece for the ruling government defending the indefensible all for political favour. The reports coming out were not great. Sometimes the lesson is to maintain your journalistic integrity and impartiality and stay out of politics!

Acheampong did travel outside the country in his time of office. Even though the eastern countiers where annoyed with him for terminating his deals they had the Bussia. He went to some eastern countries for ammendments. He did travel but what I know for sure is that HE IS THE ONLY PRESIDENT HO DID NO BORROW A PENY.
