Put the two solar panels this I picked up to keep the deer feeders 6 volt battery charged up. One Rayovac and one Wildgame Innovations.
Drained two 6 volt lantern style batteries and hooked them up to the solar panels I had mounted on a board so both would have the same angle of light.
After about 3 1/2 hours of testing, both batteries were charged up leading to the conclusion that they are both equally as good. Both will keep your deer feeder going all summer long.

at White Rook 85 - With the California rolling black out today on the 11th , i decided to go on Ebay and buy that rayvac battery recharger i seen in this video... The electric company PG and E did the black out to try to stop the wild fires, but regardless i decided to buy all the rest of the components to my old Floating Lantern powered by a 6v battery.. so this video here was the push to get me into the direction pf preparing for another 2 day back out since the one i seen in august 2003.. I bought the Rayvac solar power 6v re-charger. i also bought replacement bulbs from china and the replacement bulbs will get here on the 30th of October.. As i go into november and December and 2020 year ill always have a flashlight lantern to see in the dark. never again will another 2003 black out come and try to get me. thanks for making this video White Rook ! Thanks for the review-- I've had lots of trouble with the Wildgame Inovation plug in charger 6v & 12v combination. Tractor Supply sells Wild Game Innovation...had 4 Wildgame plug in chargers that were bad!! Only one would light up. WildGame warrenty People are hard to deal with...I'll try the Rayovac. Thanks for review!!

Just an FYI. Your amp readings are faulty, as you cannot measure amperes without a load through the meter.

Hey not getting a reading using 10a setting with a 6v wildgame panel on multimeter. But multimeter set on 200m I get 4.5 any insight on if panel is working? Get 7 volts for voltage settings as well

You can clean the yellow film off of clear plastic like headlights and probably work on the mole thing that you have. Use Mothers Aluminum polish rub it on the surface with medium pressure then immediately polish it off, DO NOT LET DRY

When you put a 6v timed feeder on it though two feedings a day, 1st an hr after dawn and another, 1 hr before dusk, will draw the 6v down the 6v batteries over time and about once a month to 2 months you will have to swap batteries and charge the original. Even with perfect 6 hrs or so a day of south sun. I’ve went to 12v for this reason and a bigger 7w solar panel to hopefully correct this problem as I had a feeder right in the middle of the rut, not happy troubleshooting feeder issues instead of hunting lol And as far as shade it won’t matter as bad if there amorphous panels due to them drawing decent in low light conditions. Two would put more watts in though. I would test to see how many watts and amps they were putting out connected together and may have to add a 6v regulator between battery and motor due to it prob overcharging the battery to some degree and I wouldn’t want all it was putting into battery going into motor if it was a noticeable amount.

I tried this product, and it really didn't work for me. It was way weak. Ad a matter of fact, when I saw the results, those are the results I see when it's time for a new battery! I'm completely off grid. No running water or electricity. And with my luck not Transpo half the time lol just my luck haha no biggie. After a while ya just expect it, adjust and get on with.

I appreciate the vid. Can I use a lithium battery? Also, must I fully charge the battery before I hook it up to the solar panel? Thanks

Only if it is rechargeable, you must use that type or risk a fire. No, you don't have to have them fully charged.

10v is too much for a 6v battery. 7.2v max
