I always thought Jackie hung out with them just bc her and Donna were friends and she would listen to Jackie vent and ramble about things she didn't even care about. She also was always there for her and tried to protect her from getting hurt when Kelso would do something stupid.

It was different back then, too a little bit depending on where you lived. They were all in the same suburbs of a not major town. While there were rich snobs, people still were friends. I often think Jackie's character was written with more 80s vibes that way, rather than 70s, for this reason. If you look back at classic 70s films or shows with teens a lot of them ironically were horror films that showed class disparity or hippies trying to change things or after school specials had just started. After school specials were always about what to do in different situations. Aside from soap operas of course which has very different vibes from sitcoms.

@@erilaksmana450 this is something that happens very often to sad, lonely men and women. They are unable to get partners and have a pathetic life so the only way be okay with themsleves is to delude themselves and criticize the other gender and stuff. Its funny how I see men talking about all women do is cheat even if men love them and give everything. Then you see women being and saying the exact same thing about men.
