Emily M Ziva didn't do anything but look at the guy. I'm guessing because he knew she was Eli David's daughter and that look in her eyes he didn't do anything more than get out of the car.
@@Tman4312 They know not to cross her and she is the daughter of Director of Mossad, so basically cross her and you not only get fired real quick but you will get your ass beat. She is kinda untouchable over there, due to Eli David
Tony was probably safer travelling with Officer Hadar at the time,Ziva would probably have got him killed on the way to Mossad Headquarters,"accidentally"of course the way she felt about him at the time.
Guys you are all missing what was going on here. Ziva was not the second person with authority to hurt Tony because she was Mossad. And being her father's daughter did not give her the authority to hurt Tony either. It was because she had a right of revenge for killing the man she loved. Eye for an eye. All that. So her authority came from old testament scripture - from God. Her father had the authority as head of Mossad - so his authority came from the government. In this, Ziva's authority outranked her father's.
most of us didn't miss that ....... Ziva did say that only two people had that authority and Vance only said that Eli was ONE and then asked who was the second person. all things considered, anyone that knew Eli's relationship with Ziva knew who had first crack between them.
Eye for an eye is Hammurabi's code from Ancient Babylonia. The Jewish faith doesn't have a new testament, so 'old' has no meaning in this context. The Christian old testament is derived from the Hebrew bible.
@@ItsAllBallBearings Interesting points. 1. "An eye for an eye." is a commandment found in the book of Exodus 21:23-27. It is also found in the Jewish faith. The same principle exists also in Babylonian law. 2. I am referring to the Jewish scroll(s). I don't know how it is named but I believe it is part of the Torah which I compare to the old Testament. If I were talking about an animal known in Spain as "caballo" it would be perfectly acceptable to mention it using the English word if I didn't know Spanish. In English caballo is a horse. 3. Agreed.
Right of revenge? You gotta be fucking kidding me. That man she loved was trying to kill Tony, it was self defense. She didn't have the right to be the only other person allowed to hurt him lmao. There was a reason Gibbs let her go and not Tony when that whole thing happened. It wasn't eye for an eye and the only reason she had authority to hurt him is cause she was Elis daughter.
I always thought that this guy's name was somewhat Ironic. "Amit" means "friend" and Hadar means "Grace". This dude was a friend to nobody, much less graceful.
More than that, the way she literally made herself driver? She's saying she knows the people could be dangerous to Tony and nobody gets to 'kill' him except for her.
@@jakestyles3809 it was great that they brought her back for a few episodes ( yes !!) , but no Tony !! Wtf those two go together like bread and butter, white on rice etc lol
wow. now you know how powerful ziva status is. she is like the princess of mossad. now she is a ncis agent. i wonder how long before her father retrieves her. i love to the see the showdown between her father , tony& gibbs.
I'm glad Ziva never harmed Tony. Losing Riffkin was soul shattering, but to harm and lose Tony, I beleive would have obliterated whatever pieces of her own goodness that she has on the inside. Ziva had every right to feel rage over Riffkins death because he would not have came had it not been for Ziva being there. He came because of her and because of her he is dead. Two powerful men who love her, had an unfortunate run in with each other.
RossieMarrie i dont think eli wanted her dead. im pretty sure it was that eli didnt think he had zivas full loyalty anymore so he sent rivkin to put a rift between ziva and ncis so she would return to israel and be completely loyal to him again
Which side? The withholding Rifkin's presence in DC from NCIS side? Or the fucking of her own would-be assassin while betraying the only folks who gave a damn about her side?
You know, there is an inconspicuous part of the plot in the Season 13 Finale where Ziva can still be alive...there was no mention of the NCIS Team examine the remains of Ziva David after that fire in her father's Farmhouse.
I'm telling you, she's coming back in the series finale, whenever that is. Tony will be back, too. And Abby. Because you're right, NCIS never examined anything. They just took Counselor Troi's word for it, and Mossad has NEVER lied to NCIS, for any reason. (That was sarcasm, in case anyone missed it). You ain't dead, till DUCKY says you're dead. And Ducky ain't said Ziva's dead, yet.
They didn't use the full quote. Which is "Be welcome back, my brother/son too our home soil. My friend whom is Jewish told me about the quote when we watched this episode.
Kinda felt like the line from Diehard when Han's lead henchman tells the underlings that since McClain killed his little brother... "No one kills him but me." Though the statement doesn't come with the same murderous rage when Ziva uses it. Like Ziva isn't sure if she wants Tony dead or just to torment him herself. Her reaction to Eli David's admission during the subsequent conversation between Tony DiNozzo & Eli David suggests she's clearly thinking emotionally... not her usual cold & calculated self.
Aww awful..poor ziva loses everyone bless her...Gibbs thinks the world of her...just takes him ages to ACTUALLY show it! Xxx❤❤❤🔯🔯🔯..ziva can definitely harm tony if she wanted to and she kinda does
Some people in the comments are looking at her saying "me" from a mossad pov, which im not saying is incorrect. Imo i think she's talking from a love pov. "Only 2 people are allowed to harm Tony. The man who put him in this world, and (his secret lover) me." Haha #Tiva #ftw
And I never believed her character at all. 110lbs soaking wet....she could take out Dinozzo, Gibbs, and especially that hulking marine on steroids in season 6? Uh huh.
@@redsabreanakin Absolutely. AND I hate her for several other reasons as well, but if I had acted that self-aggrandizing, proud, sanctimonious, smug and disdainful to the people around me growing up, my family in particular, then I'd be in a TREMENDOUS amount of trouble. Ziva is such a goddamned fucking BITCH.
the whole rivkin storyline kinda confuses me in regards to tiva. ziva was supposed to be seeing rivkin on the side, yet ziva was still flirting with tony and the sexual tension between them was at all-time high in season six. i just felt bad for ziva in this situation, because she was betrayed by both of her partners. rivkin only got close to her because of her fathers orders while tony killed rivkin and even though tony had zivas best interests at heart, she still held rivkin close to her heart so having tony be the one to kill him was a definite low blow.
I think ziva really had feelings for tony at this point but she hadnt realized until somalia in season 16 when mcgee is reading zivas diary she states the monster lifted the hood and i saw my friend my heart saw him as if for the first time and i knew i could not live without him this kind of implies that she realized she had feelings for tony during somalia but of course she ended up choosing not to act on them maybe because of the never date a coworker rule or it could be because she loved tony more than she ever had with anyone else even adam says in season 17 that tony would always have zivas heart and maybe that scared her so she guys who would never treat her the way she deserved because they were safe and wouldnt break her heart case in point ray who kind of treated her like shit always ghosting her and as for tony its hard to pinpoint when he fell for her but i always saw ziva as the one who fell first and then tony developed feelings for her later regardless neither of them acted on these feelings ever and they just dated other people to cover up what they felt
