I’ve not been interested in the 6x6 pads bc I didn’t know what to do with them, THANKS! Now I know! 🤗 I have the same paper pattern in the 12x12.. I’ll just cut those down bc I Love that paper! I’m teaching my 9 yr old gdaughter to make junk journals as I learn and we’re having a BLAST! I can’t wait to show her this!!! Thank you! Blessings to all! Happy Crafting! 🕊📚💜

Paper projects were fun.... but I have to say that the bit at the end - of the man eating alone, and the pretty woman recognizing that he was the same man who gives food to strangers who look hungry... so she decides to sit down and eat with him.... THAT TOUCHED MY HEART! ❤

Thank you, these are adorable and look like fun, quick projects. Just a suggestion for sewing, it looks like your sewing machine lower (bobbin) thread tension just needs to be adjusted to look more neat on the back.

Thanks for this pattern ~ I make a bunch of the tiny ones to use for tips at salon, restaurant, etc. Recipients have the sweetest responses to them and I'm using up that paper. Win!

So sweet! I just love Julia @Camelia Crafts Design. She does such fun projects and always has me in stitches. You did her proud with these projects. BTW I think your issue with the underside of your stitching (which I love) can be solved by adjusting your thread tension.

Very cute little flat mail albums! Don’t be too disheartened about your home search. Our real estate market was so hot when we were looking, that houses were being sold before they hit the market, sight unseen and most offers were cash offers. If you had to finance, you were out of luck. We found a “unicorn” in that the house was awesome, in the neighborhood we wanted and the seller had DIY’d himself into a pricing corner. He made so many ugly mistakes in the house, that people who were buying torn up houses wouldn’t buy it. We did get a thorough home inspection, so we knew there wasn’t anything structurally wrong with the house, so we made an offer. He wanted to buy another property and had to sell this house first. We lucked out big time! Keep looking, and don’t be afraid of renovations. Nowadays, a house in need of reno, or cheaply built “starter” homes may be the only options in some areas. The reno option is almost always a better option. Good luck!

I like making these. The offcut from the notch at the back, I glue on the front as a contrast. Don't have to cut a notch in the front then.

Just found your channel and LOVE this idea. I too am obsessed with this paper pad. It was one of the first ones I purchased ever and I was hoarding The leftovers😂 I did go back recently and buy another pad I was so excited they had it still. And I had to smile😃 at your corner chopper. I think all of ours look like that now 😝😘

Hi PBCZ , I love this series of getting rid of scraps and u do a great job in helping us to do that 😄I my mama use to be the best seamstress very live in my opinion there was not a thing should not make she didn’t even use patterns at times, I use too be a great in sewing when I was a teen and in my very young adulthood, use to make costumes , button down shirts and jackets and so on but then I lost interest and started knitting became very good at that too ! But if you done keep it up you do lose your touch 😟but now it’s all about paper crafting 😁thanks for another great tutorial 💜🌸

OMGoodness, Michelle! If you only knew how many 6x6 paper pads I have!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Julia, from Camelia Crafts is AMAZING! I have made a few of her projects and loved them. This looks like another one in going to do. I have got to use up some 6x6 papers I have. This is perfect to place in a journal. I like the smaller version, too! Tfs! Well... This video could not have come at a more perfect time, lol. It's Saturday, I have the whole day to play, AND I have the exact paper pad you're using... I wish I had purchased half a dozen of them, I love them! (Might have to run to Jo-Ann's this afternoon while their paper is all still half off and grab a couple more.) I also have a whole stack of brand new 6x6 pads that I need to start burning through.

The tape and glitter thing, yes it is a thing. Way back when there was the skinny redline tape and we would used the micro beads. I still have a decent stash of no hole beads and I thing they’re look awesome as well as the glitter. Thank you for sharing.

Replay - fun watching. In process of packing to move but I grabbed a few sheets of paper and my Stampin' Up cutting/scoring board and did a few envelope pockets. Fun and glad I had not packed my circle punches. I used two different sizes. I can't wait to settle into my new home in June and be able to get back to crafting and swapping. I at least know where I am going now. This was a lot of fun to take the time tonight to do. Thanks for the inspiration.

Good morning, Michelle. I just LOVE your videos. So, I went through a lot of my 6x6 pads only to find just a few are double sided. You have the prettiest papers! So, I think I may just cut a few 12x12's to make a few of these projects. I may even glue a pretty thinner paper to my 6x6 to make them usable for these projects. Thank you for all your videos.

Thank you so much Joan! Absolutely! The envelopes will work fine with single but I can see the album being a little tricky. I actually cut those into 6x6 as well for the tutorial. Most of my 6x6 is older and prob discontinued. I try to keep things updated incase someone wants to buy it. Nothing worse than the “discontinued” word with paper 🤣💓

My sewing machine Really dislikes metallic threads 😢 I love those envelopes at the beginning and watched Camilla's video and someone else that also did them. Then, I made a good handful of them right after. They are so easy and so addictive. Now, I must go make some your way as an album with the pocket inside. So cute I just had to make one right now. BTW the glitter with tape is much easier than glitter with glue 😛

@@Pinkstrawberryz I have seen a couple videos doing the tape trick with glitter and I use a very fine glitter then press it in really good from wrong side on the table. Then leave it alone on the table for a day or two and have had no problem. I also only use the Dollar Tree Double sided tape. Hope that helps ☺♥

How did i miss this one, love it ❤ also you could try adjusting your tention on your sewing machine, it may be too loose or too tight, I generaly have mine set to no.4 but each machine can differ, hope this helps ❤
