It should also be mentioned that the first crafter scrip set is always class-locked, meaning you'd need one set for each different disciple of the hand So yeah, the crafted set is defiitely the way to go

Yeah i thought about getting a set for everything. But given that it is possible to do all the delivery quests for the Gather/Craft Quests without updating your gear, there is no point to get a set for everything. So it is best just to get the hybrid set. Saves a ton of room.

Maybe a dumb question, what do I do about the second ring slot, since the tome gear is all unique? Do I just have to wait until the crafted gear comes out later?

You can have 2 690 rings, or you can do 1 ill 700 tome ring and one extreme trial ring ill 700

Thank you for the video! This is my first expansion and im lost on what gear to get for Crafters and gatherers at lvl100, i thought script gear but someone said scripts gear at level cap is bad; so can you make a video for crafter and gatherers gearing methods too?

The advantages of non-scrip gear are: Crafted pieces (white gear rn, and green gear at a later patch) can be over-melded, meaning they can have up to 5 Materia. That gives a HUGE amount of stats which far outweighs the scrip gear's stats. The other big thing especially now: The first scrip set is class-locked. Weaver has its own gear, blacksmith has its own, etc.

@@Senny_V ok, but i don't know what are the possible gearsets for crafters: Is there only crafted gear and script gear? And in what patch will come new gear for crafters that would make this one obsolete? For examble if i pentameld crafted gear for crafters and gatherers and then in 3 weeks comes out a new gearset making the pentameld a waste since new hear is better

@@MrMainolfs92 Yes those are the only two sets. We will get new crafting/gather gear every other major patch. In EW and ShB, we had 3 sets of script gear. One at the start. One in X.2 and another in X.4 we will then get crafted gear around the same time. So we won't be replacing this gear until next year. October/November being 7.1 and March being 7.2

MSQ Progress. The vendor is unlocked as part of a specific quest which even tells you to talk to it

There is 1 patch every month. Every major patch is every 4 months. So 7.2, which is when we will likely get the next set, will be March of next year. 7.1 will be in October/November. if you are talking about the first Raid set, then that is next week with 7.0.1

Im only before the lvl 99 dungeon, but, the biggest disappointment for me yet, are the clothes you can obtain. Ok, I don’t know, how the items in the first 2 dungeons looks like (had only head and feet), but, most of the gear you can buy, are simply reskin from earlier dungeon. The gear in Solution 9 is extremely questionable (looks like sm for me). And the 97er stuff is to modern casually. I hoped for more new unique stuff.

That is normal and it goes with the theme of the dungeon. Only Caster, Aiming, Healer, and Scout sets are casual in 97. And that gear is extremely popular amount many.
