You need magicians soul, it’s too good to avoid, you can avoid more UR’s like grass by going the _spell_ _chronicle_ route which gets you every witchcrafter spell fairly quickly but takes set up.

in that virtual world match, assuming his last card was gamma, what he should of done, is go battle phase crash nyanyan, main 2 banish nyannyan and gate with qinglong to negate your witchcrafter. sure you would of then been able to chain and pop the chuche but then his lili woul of went through and he could of sent xzanwu and and another nyannyan, and made shenshen.

Coming from Duel Links, seeing full powered WC with grass is crazy to me, but nice to see what WC can do as a rogue deck. I’ve been using them in the ladder to much success with the Secret village of spellcasters

Grass doesn’t need to be hit. It makes rogue decks fun and can be countered with a simple ash blossom. I should be allowed to play shaddoll/skull servants in peace. >:(

@@Big1nz Except there is ZERO disadvantage with using Pot of Greed. On top of losing to one Ash, Grass forces you to go 60 cards and do all the maths to optimize tech card to archetypal card ratios. Too much tech cards will result in more Grass resolves but Grass mills less useful cards, too much mill cards will result in instawin Grass resolves but you will never see a Grass in your life.

There's a spell card called secret village, it might be good to add that onto this deck. Terraforming + secret village ( which is a field spell ) won't allow your opponent to play spell cards unless they have a spellcaster monster card on the field.

@@masquerade196 depends on what's in your deck. I'd say either just add the two even if you have 40 cards, 42 cards isn't that big a deal. Or find two spell cards that you have 3 of in the deck and take one out for each and then add terraforming and secret village.

grass is my favorite card in the game, trying to find a strong 60 starters/extenders/interuptions with enough consistency and synergy is easily one of the most satisfying things in this game. There isnt alot of new engines that function with it insanely well and current TCG has turned into 60 card decks without grass in them so I dont think its even that relevant currently

@@blackwingBF I actually do play the grass version now but, yes, there’s definitely some synergy. You can make some interesting boards with the Magistus/Witchcrafter combo. Grass version is likely more competitive. My most fun version was Witchcrafter/Invoked/Silent Magician pile deck though.

Honestly, as someone who’s only played witchcrafters to plat 1 for three seasons straight, it’s very easy to counter. Just hold on to your ash blossom until you see grass. The rest is pretty easy to handle. If they only start with the witchcrafters engine it’s too slow. This particular build is pretty hard to run going second as the opponent will have very strong negates. Use super poly, DRNM, or droplet for board break. I feel like fairy tail snow is also a must.

@@r3zaful The odds of reasoning milling a lot is not that high. There's a chance they'll end up milling more from psy-framing your ash (to make chaos dragon) then from getting off reasoning lol. I remember back when I had maxx c in my deck and reasoning was sometimes 0 mills + 1 maxx c on the field.

Great video, but I dont think anyone is saying grass should be banned. In fact several TCG players are saying its fun and glad its included in the card pool, because it isnt exactly a format warping card anymore.

I pity you tcg players to see that tcg rarity bump, switching useful cards in structure deck like storms with raigeki and latest banlist is the proof that you have been milked, not to mention English cards are pricier as well. Come here to play in ocg, your old deck will never be butchered until it's unplayable and you can still use them at the highest level. Remember that tcg limit desires to make you buy pot of extravaganza.

Tcg cards have been a joke in here because how expensive they are, shit structure deck and still got censored anyway. And we can't even play it in official tournament because we are officially live in ocg land.

@@shadowspector3611 A good strategy is Spell Chronicle + Patronus. It allows you to go +5 instantly, but you have to wait at least a turn because Patronus's GY effect can't activate the same turn it's sent there.

I love witchcrafters but I've only really played them with lightsworn on links . I want to try them as well Magistus , and finish my invoked Shaddoll dogmatika ; since my Dragonmaid deck is done. Invoke Dogmatika charmers too; I play just dogmatika charmers IRL with my brother and one friend and its so much Fun. I'll probably have to look back at this deck just eventually, unless part of it gets banned soon

As Lunalight Player, I fight witchcraft few times (both win and lose), unlike in duelink we got Lunalight Tiger and Chick so I can force Madam to use Nagate monster effect by unicorn then negate her effect by Tiger king
