For anyone still wondering about this, DO NOT DO THE POISON AMULET. It doesn't make any difference at all, it's just the skill damage. Put on any amulet/rings that gives you a dmg boost, or buffs explosive damage.
I recommend doing this on losomn at mental Hospital (which you enter throught climping over the wall). Grab the CP, get Miasma, run to the wall and press it. Mobs dying, CP, repeat. Doing this on Apocalypse will get you so much XP
what am i doing wrong? doesnt work for me.. Got all items besides the XP ring, but i cant think of it being that impactful. Im getting around 100-200xp. Ritualist/miasma is lvl 6 and basically oneshotting everything
Saving everyone time, it does not work anymore. Tried multiple different builds, and I only netted around 100xp every run with perk, ring, and elixir. Save your time and just reroll Red Throne Room on Yaesha, and kill the armored brutes outside of spawn. You’ll get around 1k every run.
It works. I used Max Amplitude, Max Scholar, Stone of Balance, Stone of Continuance, Kinetic Cycle Stone, Alumni Ring, Mudtooth Elixir 1200xp for approx every 10s. 400k at least for farming an hour. If you are not getting you just ain't dealing enough damage to kill. If you are using eruption you need more number of eruptions to get the xp. You just don't have enough damage with eruption that's all. Once you get Miasma it's easier as it also scales with elemental damage bonuses
@@vineethbharadwaj8187 see that’s what I was using, Miasma with amplitude. I tested it on the first two difficulties, and tested it with even other things such as Spectral Blade. Now. I could have just had broken runs, and the enemies just didn’t spawn right, or I just wasn’t standing in the exact correct location.
I just had this working as of 01/20/2024, was getting 1000xp/round but mysteriously lost it and am only getting about 200xp / round now . No idea what I did wrong
It took me more number of eruption to actually get the kill. 2 eruptions doesnt seem enough. Try to get more skill damage / raw damage. Use Miasma. Does better, and can be amplified with both skill damage boosters and elemental damage boosters, and make sure you have max amplitude and scholar. And look for a direction that seems to cover as much enemies as possible. Some points around the crystal seem to cover a little more number of enemies. I got exactly 1200xp (Nightmare, No ring only scholar and mudtooth elixir) every ~10s. If you wait for the Miasma cooldown and use it again you get another 300xp. But its not worth the wait when you can reset and continue. Pretty good farm considering practically zero risk while farming and approx 6200 xp every minute. 420K for an hour.
I can confirm this still works as of February 20th 2024 1.3k xp per Miasma hit- just climb up the ladder go in next to the bookshelf near the door and use the skill to ensure you hit more enemies as well! Max I got was 1,530 per skill hit! - on veteran as well
This build is absolute nonsense. Why boost acid damage if Eruption is explosive damage? Actual best in slot to use for this even with lvl 1 ritualist: Amulet: Hyperconductor Rings: Blasting Cap Ring, Stone of Balance, Power Complex, Worn Admiral's Ring (swap any of the rings for Sage Stone, these are just the ones that increase your damage) The hyperconductor alone is enough because it boosts your damage by 100% since you get 4 charges instead of two.
thanks for your guide, bro. it's still work (Dec 28). BTW, I change a little bit for the gear setup: Amulet : Gift of Melancholy Ring: Burden of the gambler or stone of balance instead of acid stone. Stand near the save point and just use the Ritualist skill and then check point, can save a little time for the exp bottle.
@@Lapo802 I stand in the same spot, near the check point and use these gears, it really work. Maybe you forgot to drink the Yellow Mudtooth for gaining more EXP. Don't forget to upgrade the Scholar trait for more 15% exp
@@Lapo802 So you play in survivor campaign, right? I used these gears and when using riaturist skill, its between 246-281 damage each. After casting I check the exp and get around 1k exp in 10 sec
Had the same problem that I would only get around 200 XP. Then I switched my amulet to Necklace of Supremacy since the Toxic Release Valve only hits a single target anyway. After that I got 1000 XP.
This does not work well for me at all. Indeed you can farm a small amount of xp doing this, but when using the identical build (of course AOE trait etc.), I cannot damage anywhere near the amount of enemies as he can and I don't get anywhere near the amount of XP. The only way I can use this method is to actually go down there and kill them all. That's honestly not worthless, but it's not an exciting method for me.
Use amulets and if you have max handler then attack dog. Use damage boosting rings and relic dust that boost skill damage. Farm till you get Miasma. Miasma makes it easier
@@heydaye the trait resonance gives a ton of range to your neutral dodge charge attack for spectral. It's capable of hitting things below and above. Just go in asylum from the ladder and attack with the neutral charge and you basically killed the majority of enemies. Rinse and repeat with xp concoction xp ring and the xp trait. Takes very little time to Max a character.
Also I climbed the ladder cause I thought I was missing mobs but you can technically move faster by just running up to the wall next to the ladder, hit the majority and rest.
I just tried it it worked greatly first then it stopped working for some reason and that is a sad timing because I just need one more character to get to max
It isn't, Eruption does low damage. Max your amplitude and scholar traits. Use amulets and rings that boost raw/skill damage. Use attack dog if you have max handler. Use relic fragments that buff skill damage. Once you get Miasma, switch to that
Got news for you dude, every trick like this is going to have certain things that are required. Most people also don't have the Ritualist even unlocked yet (8% on my achievement).
@@Criptooooo He's on survivor in the video. That said, even at 200 given the fast reset you can fully level in about 30 min. Still a very efficient strat.
You probably didn't get the Amplitude trait maxed out, so you're not hitting all the mobs. Make sure you're doing enough damage to kill them too - anything that boosts skill or overall damage helps.
@@xahendro I think I figured it out. I was a little too far to the open side of the Crystal. I only had one archetype to level so I enlisted a friend to stand closer to the wall and he got the full amount despite doing less damage. A big clump of them were just barely out of range from where I was standing.
There are not many things to level with xp. Just play the game and the few things that level with xp will max out very quickly. Unnecessary farming makes the game boring and causes burnout.
It's subjective. For someone who has completed the game already and want to try out builds, doing it the hard way might take a lot of time. They might want to just farm xp and play directly with the build.
